Hi Temple,

Having just checked the help file, I don't think it is possible:

Transfer To Connect Allowed
If this flag is enabled, an announced transfer call (including an announced transfer from voice mail) connects immediately with the destination once the transferring party hangs up. (If the flag is disabled, the recipient must press a CALL key to answer the transferred call). If the user has a headset enabled, or if the device user picks up the handset for the initial call and the transferring party disconnects, the transferred party will hear a single tone and then be immediately connected without any further action from the device user. Calls will not automatically connect in handsfree speakerphone mode; the user must press a CALL key to answer the call. This flag is disabled by default.

Thanks,
James

+1 for Dynamic Ext Express. We use that here for mobile and desk ringing (then to voicemail).

By the way, did you ask the same question at the Mitel User Group? - I was the first to answer recommending asking at Mitel Forums (but they deleted that bit!).

The forums have been dead there since they started up. The only useful part of that group is the setting up of a Mitel Online account.

Thanks,
James

Hi Temple.

I believe the setting you are looking for is: "Transfer to Connect Allowed".

You can find that setting under System > Devices and Feature Codes > Phones > (Phone) > Flags

Thanks,
James

Hi Guys,

Thanks for that suggestion. It works fine using Internet Explorer.

And you are correct, we always use Chrome and it's worked fine. I guess there has been a recent Chrome update that's killed it.

I guess this will be resolved in the next Mitel update.

Thanks,
James

Hi,

I just recently noticed that our Mitel 5000 User Web Portal is not working when you click on "Programmable Keys".
It just keeps loading saying "Loading phone and keymap..."

I have tried loading the DB in database tools to see if there are any errors (Only two errors but not related).

I have not tried rebooting the PBX yet, but just wondering if you guys have ever seen this before?

On other note, the PBX we have only has about 20 phones connected to it... but it is incredibility slow on the Mitel User Web Portal. Anyone else experiencing this?

Thanks,
James

Hi Adam,

We don't seem to be having that issue. It does only seem limited to MOH and calling from a mobile.
I have read somewhere that mobile networks use different compression factors, and that this could be what is affecting it.

Is there a specified dB level that needs to be adhered to for File MOH?

Many thanks,
James

Hi,

We have recently set-up a Mitel 5000 system. I have introduced a File based Music On Hold - which sounds fantastic when you are calling internally or off a land-line. However, calling off a mobile phone sounds awful.

The MOH cuts out, sounds distorted (almost like wind blowing in a tunnel) and it sounds like you a making a massive long distance call! - When the voice over comes on (to announce number in queue), that sounds perfect. Then it goes back to distortion.

The original file was a MP3, converted to WAV, coverted to the Mitel standard.

Any idea's why it's doing this and how to fix it?

Many thanks!
James
