Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Integration of Mitel system with D-Link IP PBX

Dear All,

We have one of our clients bought new IP PBX and they want to integrate the new system with our Mitel MXE controller using E1 Trunk.

The new IP PBX is D-LINK DVX 9000, it’s an Intel-G850 based Asterisk IP PBX.

They got two DVX 9000, one of them will work as resilient and to enable the connection between the two D-Link PBX’S they need to add media gateway (DVX–8050 XStack Gateway), the connection between the two PBX and the media gateway is by USB 2.0 cable.

I have attached the data sheets for the IP PBX, media gateway and the VX-8030 PRI Module (E1 Card).

Is it possible to integrate the D-Link system with the MXE controller? If yes, what are the parameters need to be configured at Mitel and the D-LINK IPPBX E1 port.

Dear All,

i have a problem with Mitel 5212 Ip phone.

the phone display is lighting up but no display on it and the phone is not registering on the controller.

Please advise?

Hi All,

thank you for your support, which helped me to build our system.

still i have some points that are not clear and need your assistance before i order the system 

Our existing system is Mitel CXi controller (MCD 4.0 SP2) with 16 IP User & Device Licenses.

We need the users to use their extensions on the Android / IPhone Mobiles over the Internet.

We have generated a BoQ from SWB and we need to verify the BoQ with you.

Please check the following BoQ is correct for the complete system of UCA and advise if there are any changes to be done.

1) What licenses will be required for the Controller?

2) We have User License (Part# 54000291) & Device licenses (Part# 54000294) in our AMC account.

3) We can assign these licenses to our Application Record and then upgrade the Software of the controller to MCD 6.0.

4) We want to install UCA and MBG in one server working in Server Gateway mode. Is it possible?

5) We want you to verify that the above BoQ is correct and what licenses will be required for our existing controller.

Dear All,

I have standalone CXI Controller running with software rel 4.0.

when i used the software installer to perform the upgrade to rel 5, it bring me the following message:

The ICP being upgraded is not in SDS mode. Please migrate the system to sync using SDS before continuing the upgrade.

please note that the system is standalone and we donot want any SDS enabling.

can we perform the upgrade without migrate the system to sync using SDS.

Please advise urgently

what kind of licence do i need for the whole system:

we just need to operate our smart phones with the company extensions.


could you please let me know what is minmum requirements for this server to install MBG and the UCA together.

Hi All,

I want to install UCA in Our office and i am very confusing of the this system.

i am asking if any one have any documents can help to install the server and what kind of license do i want, it will be Great.

our Plan is to operate our Smart Phones with the MCD 3000 CXI controller outside the office.

i believe that i need MBG to enable the smart phones to be connected with controller.

so if some one can give the documents and  some lines to work on it, i will appropriate that.
