Hey all, using MCD 3300 with the 5550 IP console. I'm trying to figure out where I'd find the Class of Service for the IP console. Basically I want to change the time it rings. For the other IP phones user and device configurations exist where the COS has a timeout on ringing.

it could be any mobile. Basically I want it to ignore COR for forwarded calls, but obey it for direct calls.

Hi all
I have some extensions set up with a class of restriction so they can only dial internal extensions, however many of the target extensions are set up to forward to mobiles.
Is there a way (without unrestricting the extensions) to allow them to call an extension and have the diversion kick in? Currently they just ring out, and only forward if I change the class of restriction.

Also, where would I find the restriction settings? I can only find the class of restriction groups that don't show what the restrictions are (they just say 1-4)

I'd like to mass change the 'secondary element' for all devices. any ideas?

Hi all
trying to change the first and last names of about 200 devices that are currently assigned extensions.
When i tried uploading the CSV i get an error that says the directory number exists. Whilst this is true, I'm doing something wrong I guess. Is there a way to bulk edit fields?

Hi All, in the MCD I want to change the class of service for all 3 options (day night1 night2) for about 50 extensions

Can I somehow set things up so on a group of extensions, when the handset is lifted the phone auto calls an extension without having to press the numpad?
Basically we have an automated voice message that we want to play to a group of users, and present the menu (press 1 for x etc) to them without having to dial.
Similar to a hotel/room service setup without dialing 0 for the menu I suppose.

the output just showed the model (5320) and that it's an IP phone, which is accurate. I don't have the output verbatim currently but loc num xxxx didn't yield much

well the DSS settings for the existing handsets are all on 'no ring', and the ring groups menu in the 3300 is empty, so I have mo idea where this setting is coming from, or how to track it down.

Ok I found the ext that the operator is transferring to.
there's a bunch of DSS/Busy Lamps set up under the keys tab that refer to each of the group members. Added in the new extensions with the same settings, tested with no luck.

yeah I understand that, so what happens currently is reception forward calls to one number, and several other staff phones all ring simultaneously and they have the ability to answer that call. Adding extra staff to that pool doesn't seem to work.
I can see the staff are in the pickup group so assumed this is where i'd add the new additions.  I'm sure I'm missing something but I've been hunting through  menus all morning!

Edit: I was under users and devices-group programming-pickup groups, selected group, added member via their number

as title says, I've got an existing pickup group and I've added an extension to it, however the new extensions aren't ringing whereas the old ones are. What have I missed?
ICP 3300 with 5320 IP phones.

Hi guys, not purely a Mitel question, but I'm using 5320 handsets so I guess it counts..
Does a device exist, that is a conference speakerphone (like a polycomm triangle or a saucer) that can connect to the standard RJ11 headset port? Basically the idea is to use the standard IP phone to dial, but enhance audio quality by hanging a big speaker/microphone off the device for conference purposes instead of a tiny headset. Essentially it's just a bigger version of a headset, however I can't find a suitable product.

Any way I can speed up or unlock the firmware so I don't have to wait overnight to run a handset up?
