Hi John! Aren't you the lucky one.
Installed 7000 and 5000 units before and tell you they are fun.
Hope you registered on the Polycom website and have access to documentation and software.
Check the software version of the 7000, you might have to upgrade the firmware.
SIP is simple to program on the 3300, it is the Polycom that is painful.
Have two working on our network and can share notes with you tomorrow (NA Pacific time).
Questions:
- software on the Polycom, anything older than 3 has no LLDP support.
- voice network, VLAN?, LLDP?, DHCP? Need a provisioning server option for it to work.
Hi John!

Thanks for the help. Here's my best to answer your questions:
* Version: 3.1.2.0392
* No VLAN or LLDP to the best of my understanding (although I am new here so I could be wrong!).
* Do have DHCP
* Not sure about a provisioning server. We do have a MITEL box.

Our current devices are setup as VOIPs and we do have an analogue Polycom that works. I'm attempting to setup this polycomm as a generic SIP though (to be used through VOIP).

My apologies if my answers are wrong/don't make sense.

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Polycom 7000 Will not connect boot server

Hi,

I've got a Polycom 7000 and I've found the attached instructions for how to set it up on my MITEL 3300. I'm having problems as the screenshots don't match the system I use, but I've done the best I can. I've attached a couple of screenshots to show what my interface looks like.

I cannot dial out and I cannot dial into it. I've checked and it's not the phone line (other phones work on it just fine). My phone flashes the time (haven't changed it), but it does have the phone number 131.

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
