Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Need help with DID Please!
« on: June 06, 2014, 01:53:22 PM »
Hey guys so im on an embedded mitel 3300 and We have some Direct Inward Dial ranges that ride in on a T-1 into our Mitel 3300. Before I got to this company, I think a tech removed one of the DID numbers and programmed it to automatically forward to a remote user’s cell phone number.
I removed the call forward programming and attached a regular Superset 4025 to this DID: (818) 654-1769. I can dial the phone internally and the phone rings but when I try to call this DID from any phone outside of our building or network the call cannot be completed and I hear a recorded message, “You have reached a number that is incorrect or no longer in service. Please check the number and dial again.” I opened a ticket with telco and they traced the call across the T-1 but our phone system is not accepting the DID signal so Telco said it is our phone system programming. Can anyone help me out with the Mitel programming? Thanks alot for any help you can give.

Our MAS release level is 4.2 SP2 and our active software load is 10.2.2.10 if that helps. i think Nupoint is in release 5.0 but i could be wrong. I programed the mailbox thru MAS.

I'm not entirely sure, I know we are not on nupoint, we have been told to upgrade to the newest micollab server but we have not done that yet. i think our version is still called (Mitel Applications Server). Im new to the phone game so sorry if i did not provide the info you need to help me.

Hey guys i don't know if its possible but i thought i would ask,  I have set up my extension so when it gets a voicemail it calls my cell phone right away and lets me know there is a message. by default it only calls me twice in 15 min intervals. I would like it to call me until i pick up and check the message. I looked everywhere and i cant find any parameters to change. any help is greatly appreciated

ok guys a lil update on my problem, any help is greatly appreciated. We checked the ARS Dial Plan and all of the area codes that cannot be dialed on the 3300. They are all programmed in the 3300. So, does anyone know how I can check the COR and COS on the Active Voice Repartee Voicemail system? I am really thinking now that it is on the Active Voice Repartee not the 3300… thanks for your help!

the cell phones are called after they get a message on there VM, It will call them up to 4 times until they check the message. It usually notifies them within a minute of getting the message. They prefer it to call them because its quicker.

Hey guys I'm the IT guy at a graduate school and I've never worked with phone systems before but they want me to figure some stuff out for them so this is one problem i ran into. We have an older Active Voice Repartee Voicemail system that is connected to our Mitel 3300 MXe III phone system. The voicemail subscribers on the Active Voice Repartee Voicemail get notified on their cell phones when someone leaves them a voicemail but only if their cell phones are in area codes: 818, 310, 323 and 213. I need to expand the area codes to include dialing number in 626, 909, 951, and 970. I don’t know if the problem is on the Active Voice Repartee Voicemail system, or is the problem on the Mitel 3300 MXe III Phone system… and how do I add the ability to dial more area codes? Thanks alot if you read all that and can help! any help is greatly appreciated!
