from the maintenance command form try "CCS TRACE ENABLE CONTINUOUS"

call one of the DIDs that doesnt work and you should be able to see what digits are actually being sent.  Sounds like an issue on the carrier side.

When finished, be sure to run the command "CCS TRACE DISABLE"

If you want to hear the Day/Night1/Night2 voicemail recordings when the phone system is in night mode --> then you need the digits that the main number rings in as to reroute (in Night 1 condition)  to the pilot number of the embedded voicemail port hunt group.

It sounds like calls are routing to mailbox 0, which is probably a mailbox with no recording.  So you can remove mailbox 0.  Or you change 6700 on the call Re Route Always form to route to the voicemail port huntgroup when the controller is in Night 1 mode.

Are the softphone and hardphone part of the same multi-device user group?

If not.. and they have their own ACD Agent IDs --> it shouldn't cause an issue.

CCS trace did show the call trying to go out.  So you nailed it Ralph.. carrier blocking due to caller ID source, ticking CLID replacement resolved the issue.

I have a DID coming over a PRI.  Carrier is sending me the last 4 digits, in this case 2790.

In the system speedcall form I can program 2790 > 3000(voicemail hunt group) and when I call the DID I reach voicemail

If I program a speedcall pointed to an external number regardless of format 2790 > 7262116... or 2790 > 9726211... or 2790 > 99257262116... or 2790 > 919257262116.. my call does not go through.

What is the easiest way to accomplish this?

If you check the back up Call History and Voicemail boxes, then yes the embedded vm does go down during part of the back up process.

I'd go for the reboot, then try to login again.

Most likely the firmware on the phone is corrupt.

You can try factory defaulting it.  Unplug the phone and plug it back in while holding the down arrow key.  When configure phone comes up on the display select Yes.  Then select no no no etc. until you get to Tools and Features..select yes.  Then select no no no etc until you get to Restore Defaults, select yes.  Follow the prompts and the phone will reset.

Mitel Software Applications / UCA Softphone RED X

Have a user who works remotely and uses UCA.. he has a softphone set up and configured but when he tries to switch the active device on the UCA desktop client, the soft phone icon has a red X.  I did a screenshare with the user and checked the configuration menu within UCA and his SIP Softphone is enabled... he was set to use a headset for Mic/Speakers but I set those to system default and he still has the same issue. So my question is what else would cause this red X?

I believe you will need to set it to YES for both the phones and the trunks.

You won't hurt anything by changing it and giving it a try.

I suspect DB corruption as well.  For now I just deleted and re-added the two mailboxes that needed passcode resets..

I have a simple request from a client, reset two embedded VM passcodes

When I try to reset the passcodes (via the user and device config form, or the VM Mailboxes form), and click save, I get an error, "No Matching Record Was Found"

This happens with both mailboxes I am trying to reset.  Any thoughts or troubleshooting steps would be greatly appreciated.

Also Dwayne, I'm going to max out that timer, and see if that helps.  This could certainly also be the issue.., as I placed a few test calls today and wasn't able to duplicate the issue, but I didn't keep the "unsupervised conference" open for more than 5 minutes.

So that may be the key.  I've verified with the carrier that disconnect supervision is enabled, but their Forward Disconnect Delay Timer (this timer controls the amount of time voltage is taken off the line to signal a disconnect) was only set to 250ms.  I had them increase this time 750ms... but per your message it seems I should request to have it increased to 800ms.
