MiVoice Office 250/Mitel 5000 / Re: WiFi SIP DECT ON MItel 5000
« on: October 14, 2015, 08:36:27 AM »
Hi Akuhn

It appears to be the Sonicwall WAP issue, appreantly the Spectralinks we originally proposes require a particular something that the Sonicpoint WAPS can't offer which surprises me.

We are at the stage of looking at 3rd party WiFi DECT that although not supported by Mitel, others may have successfully installed through the Sonicpoint WAPS

Hi There, I'm hoping someone can help.  We have an issue in that some Spectralink WiFi DECT will not integrate on a clients SonicWall Sonicpoint WAP's do to a power save/Codec issue.

Does anyone have any experience of a suitable 3rd party WiFi DECT Handset that will work via a SIP endpoint on the 5000 or more importantly compaticble with the Sonicpoint WiFi access points.

Your help would be grateful.

Hi,  I am quoting a Mitel 5000 for a small Hotel and they want to know whether we can get the Mitel to notify SLT/PoTS Analogue extensions with a lamp.  Also can you get a "wake up Call" facility on the Mitel 5000 to set a call at a certain time.

Your input would be greatly appreciated.

Andrew

Thanks Steven,
How would you suggest I get the readout via diagnostics on an SSH connection, is there advanced logging I can view from there as I'm not getting much from the system monitoring print.

Hi All,
I am installing a Mitel 5000 HX in Germany and cannot get the ISDN BRi to work, I get engaged on inbound and disconnection on outbound.

The Site is using an Access 100 Modem to translate the BRI locally to Netcolognes SIP network which is the standard in Germany.  it is DSS1 ETSI Standard.

Fixed 0 is set on TEI setting on the port, and due to the fact they do not "En-Bloc dial in Germany Overlap send and receive is set to YES.  Anyone have anything similar or a solution to this? I believe it's a digit presentation issue between the Mitel and the netwrok in the Call routing table/Trunk groups but can't seem to tell.

thanks

Andy
