So here is a strange one. We have an extension that randomly when we call it from another internal extension, once you hang up the MiCollab client displays a message that says 'Call failed - the number was not recognized'. We are on MiCollab client 8.1.210 build 125, server version 8.1.2.8. Does not happen on most inbound calls, just a few randomly here and there. PC is running Windows 7 32 bit with latest updates.

So far only one particular extension has reported this and it only started up a week ago when we upgraded to the latest 8.1 release for our system.
Anyone run into this before?

Wondering if anyone has encountered this before - I have a 6940 with the Mitel matching DECT headset. Every few days the DECT headset will stop working / loses connection with the phone (no dial tone through it, cannot make or receive calls through it). The integrated bluetooth handset works fine and doesn't have the issue. The only way I have been able to get it back is to reboot the phone.

Never mind we got it to pair using another battery from a different device then put the dead on back on and it started charging.

Hi folks, so I have a DECT headset for a 5300 series phone where the headset has been sitting in a drawer for a year (user thought it was lost). Battery currently has no charge. How do I get the thing to charge? We use 5360's and with the current firmware, it won't even let me part up the device to the phone. When i set it on the cradle the charging indicator does not blink on the base. Any tricks to jumpstarting the charge process?

Hi folks, just wondering if anyone knows if there is a way to play music through a 6940 DECT headset? I know the 6940 has bluetooth so not sure if there is a way to pair/play music from say a cell phone and listen to it via the DECT headset when not on a call?

I have Windows 10 Pro 64bit installed with MiCollab Client v8.0.311 build 91 running on server version 8.0.2.202. On Windows 7 if the client is minimized to the system tray and an inbound call comes into my phone, I get a pop up notification letting me know there is an inbound call. In Windows 10 however I do not get any notification for it. I can't figure out why it isn't showing. If I open the app on the screen (instead of minimized) then a call comes in, it shows the usual call/end call options. Any ideas? I have the latest updates to Windows 10 as of this week, wonder if they broke something in the client with an update.

Wondering if any of you have seen this before. We have an administrative assistant who has Outlook (via Microsoft Exchange) calendar access to several people (managers). She is also assigned as a delegate in each of her managers MiCollab AWV portal. When one particular manager sends out a meeting invite, the admin asst. also gets copied on the calendar meeting acceptance replies. All that works fine like it should as far as Outlook is concerned.

What is strange is that she gets prompted by MiCollab (the Outlook plugin is installed) stating: Invalid MiCollab login id or password. Verify your credential in Account settings window. Then it opens her login window, she puts in her user ID and password and the message goes away. Starts all over again the next time this manager sends an invite and gets the replies. Its as if something doesn't realize she is a delegate in MiCollab. Anyone else run into this before?

Hi folks, so I have seen a screen shot or two on the web showing a 6940 screen where the person's avatar and MiCollab status are shown at the top of the screen. Any idea how to link that up? I have a 6940 and for my phone it just shows a blue circle with a person outline in it. Just wondering if anyone else has linked it up.

Hi folks, we have had a number of users complaining while using the MiCollab mobile (latest v8 as of this post) client on iPhones (different recent models) that they hear a lot of noise or static type audio on their calls. Doesn't seem to matter if it is inbound or outbound. Listening to the non Mitel person on the other end of the call is like it is broken audio and static sounding. We have tried LTE only (with different carriers), tried WiFi, users are reporting the same thing. Any thoughts or ideas on any system settings to check for codecs or anything that might cause it?

Hi folks, so I am testing out a new 6940 and I have my iphone paired up with the 6940 and can pull a call from my cell phone onto the 6940. The issue I am running into is if I answer a new call on the 6940 I can't push the call to my cell phone. There is a push soft button on the screen and when i press that it just pushes the call to my extension again (makes my 2nd line key ring) instead of sending to my cell phone. Anyone know of a setting to check?

Hi folks, anyone know of any way to customize any of the defaults in the v8 MiCollab Windows PC desktop client install? I am specifically looking for a way to default Personal Contacts to off for example since there is an issue with that function that won't be fixed for several months yet. I know the v7 client had a few command line options for the MSI file.
