Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Maximum Simultaneous Calls
« on: November 23, 2015, 09:00:26 AM »
I have a Mitel 3300 and at night we use the system as a testing site for a bunch of boardrooms, basically we have setup some automation to call our system at night and provide a test tone as a microphone test for the rooms. The test works great but as we are growing the number of sites are getting larger, and I'm concerned with the amount of incoming calls, and our system not being able to handle them. I was told that some tests failed when there was around thirty incoming calls. I was looking through the System Admin tool and couldn't find any limitation. So then I thought that it may be a bandwidth limitation, does anyone know how to check the limitation

@Ralph, I found it the VM for 710 had Message notification Enabled with the number pointing to the 484XXXXXXX number.
Thanks a lot for your help
Michael

@Ralph, I don't have a VM of 1419
I did a state extension 1419 LOCATE: Invalid or nonexistent extension number or id number.

7
@X-Man I think 7007 refers to our main extension since thats our last 4 digits.

@Ralph, I used filezilla and have found many entries like this
07/07 11:18:57 INFO    1419-12 pg:710/94848XXXXXX/48

I'll look into extension 710

I've done a STATE EXTENSION 8812, and I get

  Location    | Device               | State         |  Owner  | ID   |Status
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
 1 4 27  12  1| Superset 4150        |Idle           |         |      |
 1 4 27  12  2| Unassigned           |Not applicable |         |      |
 1 4 27  12  2| Alternate Codec      |Idle           |         |      |
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm don't have any Superset 4150, so I'm not sure where this info is coming from

I got a call from someone saying that we have been calling there cell number. So I did a logsys on there number and in fact we have been calling them! But I'm not sure how to locate the source of the calling. Here a partial report, I x'd out the outgoing call, the first chunk of the log is when they called to report the issue. I think it has to do with extension 8812/8813

When I do a LOCATE EXTENSION 8812

I get
VM Port : 713
Circuit Location : 1 4 27 12 1
Extension : 8812
Zone ID: 1

I'm not sure what 713 refers to, I have checked the VM that it refers to, to see if there is call forwarding to the number, there is call forwarding but to a completely different number. If I goto Voice Mail->System Settings -> VM Ports I see the extension 8812/8813 there but the port id's are 12/13. Does anyone have any ideas on where to track this down?

Thanks Michael

Having an issue, I've never really used CCM to pull reports, however the manager at my office is asking me for all the calls made between a certain date, for a certain employee/agent I think that I would use "Agent Group Outbound Trace" or "Agent Outbound Trace" however I get no data for either report. I can get the amount of calls made but never the inbound or outbound numbers. Has anyone ever used this tool? If so any suggestions?
Thanks MIchael

I was able to resolve this by registering to the Border Gateway, instead of the ICP. Which is sort of weird since everything inside our fw is trusted

I checked the firewall no dice. I'm going to check with my provider and report back.
Thanks

No it doesn't say "Out of service" its like it knows the extension is there but its not routing to it.
If I try to call the extension, nothing happens it doesn't ring and the calling phone is silent, I don't get a RAD saying that it won't connect just silence.

When I call my desk extension I get the Extension followed by the directory name I used in User and Device Configuration.
