it's OK, i have figured out that you cannot do this as all it does is create an alias of the menu item and then you cannot have a unique menu structure

So you have to record two messages, one for in working hours and one for out of working hours and then create a completely separate menu structure with unique names

Hi all,

I need to get our call flow template changed, so that the off hours is a copy of the on hours, with the exception that when someone presses 1 for Sales, they then get this office is now closed message, but when they choose 2 for support, it blind calls the support number

How easy is it to do this, i want to be able to use the existing call recordings already set

Thanks
Andy

Recently we have been made aware of single high call costs from our provider, they have provided me with the number that has been called and the date 30/04/15

Is there anywhere stored a list of the outbound calls and which extension made them on our Mitel system?

Will i need to get Mitel support involved for them to remotely perform a query if its possible?

Thanks
Andy

Hi, I hope this is the right forum

We have a Mitel 3300 and a MAS, one user when pressing their voicemail button on their phone, instead of dialling the voicemail server, it calls another extension (this is not defined on any button either)

I have checked their mailbox on the MAS and it is set correctly and if they call the voicemail extension it recognises them and they can retrieve their messages

I have also checked their deskphone config on the 3300 and its the same as everyone else

on the 3300 we have the voicemail box set with the correct extension (External Visual VM)

Anyone know how this has happened and how to revert it?

Thanks

Andy

Just to provide a quick update

in our COS I changed Suppress Simulated CCM after ISDN Progress from No to yes and we are still getting calls dropping at the 15-20 minute mark

I will be testing an Android phone in the next half an hour so will let you know the results

Thanks

Andy

Hi Ralph, the issue we have and we can easily reproduce it, is from any desk phone, call one of our mobiles (we all have IPhone 4S handsets on UK Vodafone) and leave the call open, between 2-3 minutes into the call, the voice from the mobile back to the desk phone sounds like a robot.

We have only had the issue since we have moved sites, but the connection outbound is still the same using ISDN 2e and the same provider and apart from a maintenance visit from our Mitel provider to perform an update our MAS (the issue was still present before this), nothing else on the system has changed.

Thanks

Andy

Thank you both for your replies

The outbound calls are directly from your deskphone to the outside world, it could be calling into a WebEx or just a normal phone call that runs into the 20+ min mark

Yes, the issue happens to be with IPhones from the calls sounding like robots

I did mention the software versions I could find in my initial post, if there is more needed, please let me know and I will try to find it

I will search out the COS settings and see what they are set to

Thanks

Hi Everyone,

I was wondering if anyone would be able to help

We have the following setup, Mitel 3300 MXe-III running 5.0 SP2 PR1 and a MAS/UCA running 4.0.227.0

We are experiencing two issues

One, outbound calls are routed via ISDN 2e and inbound are via a SIP trunk

When making outbound calls, after approx 20 mins, the calls drop, we make a lot of conference calls, so this is beginning to be noticed almost daily, When I have experienced this, my desk phone just says busy. I have a Mitel 5330 phone

The second issue is calls to mobiles, after 3-5 minutes, the call quality drops and they sound like robots on the phone

We have had this looked at already and are yet to find a solution

Thanks

Andy
