Mitel 3300 - MCD 6.0 SP3 - Mitel 5312 Handset

I have set up a speed dial for an external number ( a mobile number) and have created a telephone directory entry for it. However when I call from that mobile just the number is displayed on the handset. The name that I associated with it in the tel directory isn't shown.

Thanks

MCD 6 - Mitel 3300 - 5312 IP Sets

What form do I use to automatically insert digits when a certain number is dialed from any of our extensions ?

For example.
When someone dials 920xxxxxx (9 for outside line) the mitel 3300 inserts 029 in front (the 9 for an outside line is already being stripped /absorbed) so that 02920XXXXXX gets sent to to telephone exchange down our ISDN line.

Thanks

Thanks for replying but there's a misunderstanding unfortuntately I think. I just tried that and it does find on what ext the original line key was programmed. However I was hoping to find what ext or ext's still had the scretarial buttons programmed for that original line key as I need to delete them before I can delete the original line key.

Mitel 3300 - MCD 6 - 5312's
I have a line key programmed on a master phone. On a few extensions I then have a secreterial button programmed for it. This was set up some time ago. I still have my notes for it. I now wish to remove it all. I have removed all the scretarial buttons (or so I thought) that I had noted down so that I could delete the original line key. It seems though that there is still at least one extension that has a secretarial button though as I can't remove the original line key. We have approx 180 extensions. Is there any way to find which extension has the remaining secretarial button rather than me having to go through all 180 of them ? Thanks

Mitel Software Applications / Re: Mitel SRC Licences Query

Ahhh, I see... Thank you...
The plan is for SRC licences as we will be using it to record calls made on extensions.
I queried the included lcences as I read it on some site but couldn't date the site so assume it was out of date then - as in before MBG,  5 licences were included may be.

Mitel Software Applications / Mitel SRC Licences Query
« on: February 19, 2014, 07:14:30 AM »
Hi
I know that licences are sold in quantities of 1, 10 and 50. Does anyone know though if the Mitel SRC comes shipped with any licences at all included / built in ?
We are UK based if that makes a difference...
Thanks

I know this is an old post but does anyone else have any experience of doing this...

We have a Mitel 3300 - MCD 4.0

We have a remote office connected only by fibre. The fibre is used as an ethernet extension so basically we have a data switch either end - like a WAN but its a LAN. Two VLANs are used. One for data and one for voice. We wanted to have a FAX in the remote office. One solution would be to have a new analogue phone line installed by BT but we would prefer to use the 3300 and maybe one of these Linksys SPA2102 boxes.

The post mentions that Mitel have an installation guide for it. I can't find one - anyone have the link or more info ?

Thanks

Thanks

I looked in to this way (Associated directory numbers and use cpn substitution) and it seems straight forward though could take some time program.

I can't seem to work out this way though (CPN substitution groups and DID ranges for CPN). In the top part of the CPN Sub form I have our 2 ISDN's listed. According to the help file I should then have an index field for both of them which once populated you can then move down to the bottom part of the form and assign ranges. There is no index field though ?

Mitel 3300 - MCD 4
Hi
We have two ISDNS serving our firm. They run in 'parallel' providing us with 60 channels and we have a DDI range assigned to all our extensions. At the moment if we call out the person receiving the call, regardless of what ddi extension was used to call out from will always get our main ISDN number displayed on their phone. How do we set it so that the actual ext ddi number is displayed / presented instead ?

Thanks

Thank you. So the SRC / voice encryption side of things won't affect call management software just call recording. As in we could get Proteus Office (or similar) for call management and leave voice encryption on. It's when we come to call recording the SRC / encryption comes in to it ?

The Proteus office software - is th einstall straight forward or is an indepth knowledge of 3300's and MCD required ? I assume the software isn't vendor specific.

Mitel 3300 - MCD 4 - 2 x ISDN 30's - About 170 users

We are looking to gather some more info on calls for a mini inhouse call / contact centre we have set up (only 10 ext's or so). We would like to gather such data as number called or called from, time date, which ext, duration, outgoing or incoming, list of called numbers, how often, total calls from an ext etc.

Also to be able to record phone calls, to play back and to listen in on live calls for training purposes.

Currently we have no SRC and our voice calls are encrypted. We are thinking about turning the encryption off and have another thread running for opinions on that. We will go down the SRC route if needs be though.

Anyone have some recommendations and some rough costs (we are in the UK) ? Thank you

Yep, that's it - worked a treat - thank you. So for example (in case it helps anyone else):
If the individual trunk access code is #22, trunk number you chose is 55 (must be entered in 4 digit format) and the number you want to call is 02920XXXXXX then on the handset (the COS of the hadset needs individual trunk access enabled first) you type
#22005502920XXXXXX

9 for outside line not needed

Thanks

Mitel 3300 - MCD 4 - 2 x ISDN 30's
If I wanted to dial out on a specific trunk line what is the format of the code to type in on the handset ? Also what is the COS option that needs to be enabled to allow this ?

<Feature Access Code><Trunk Number>Then number ?
So in Feature access code form is it the individual trunk access code eg #22 that I need? Then in the Trunk group assignment form is it the trunk group member number listed (we have 2 x isdn 30's) then the number ? And do you need a 9 for an outside line ?
e.g.#221<then the number you want to call>

Thanks

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Re: Using embedded VM to record calls

Update: it's working...
It's been working it seems since creating the recorder hunt group earlier. The problem was that i wasnt holding down the record a call button on the handset for long enough. I was just giving it a quick press but it needs about a 1-2 second press, then release then the light comes on. Conflicting instructions though on it's operation (5312) - one source states that the key can't be used to stop the recording and one source says it can. Can anyone confirm ?
