It looks as though I am on v3

So is this just done on each individual station.  I can see on the connections settings, where 'endpoint only' is selected there is an option for password.  Does this mean this would be required to be set for each individual station?

That's it.  Thanks Dave.  Is there any way in which to trace where these have been changed?

And is there anyway to disable this ability?

Yes we currently use Xarious Phone Manager.

Wondering if someone maybe able to help...

Currently our maintenance subscription / support has expired on our system.

There is a user seemingly remotely accessing a feature to take control of another station and making bogus calls.

I'd like to know if anyone can help me identify the feature this employee is using.  Also if it is possible to turn it off at all.  And last but not least if it is possible to identify the source of where this happens.

I have the Mitel DB System and Diagnostics tool installed on my machine but my knowledge is limited so please go easy.
