I think the only way you will be able to use multiple Mobile client softphones (either on a mobile phone or desktop)would be to have them in separate Multidevice groups as only one device within the group can be used at any one time.
This would also require an additional UCC Licence so it could get quite expensive

If your 3300 has an attached MAS or MIC server you can send a message between apps to your HR or similar to inform about a sick day or anything else

Mmmm. Think I've found the problem. checked with the IT guys that look after the VM platform and they updated the MAS by SW update instead of deploying an updated OVA & restoring database. As such there is an error showing on the MCD network element of MAS which seems to be messing up NuPoint. Will have to do some work on it & get it back to normal and hopefully that will resolve the NuPoint problem.
Thanks for your input guys.

As additional info.  When you ring one of the ports it shows as out of service.

Thanks for the reply.  I went down that road when I saw the NO DISTB indication. The DND Permanent is turned off on all ports except the MWI as you would expect (or hope) as the system had initial setup with MiCW.

Greetings to the Massed Might of the Forum.
Kind of new to this so here goes.  We have a VMware bundle of MCD, MAS, MBG etc all running smoothly apart from when I try to access a nupoint mailbox (dial 6000) I get "NO DISTB"
The phone has a mailbox provided via MAS, the 6000 group is a voicemail group with 3 ports in and all the appropriate COS seem to be OK.
Scratching my head a bit now so I will throw myself at the mercy of the forum to see what I've done wrong.
Many thanks in appreciation.

Thanks for the reply Ace,
Thought that might be the style of it.
Have setup a slimmed down profile which only gives access to the Mailboxes so hopefully they can't cause too much havoc.

MiVoice Office 250/Mitel 5000 / Voicemail Bulk Delete
« on: October 15, 2013, 06:39:27 AM »
Greetings Peoples,
I have a customer who will be using their voicemail (with an email link) to take their overnight orders.
These orders can be up to 300 per night (fish supplier to restaurants).
They want to be able to leave the messages on the system until closing then bulk delete them as they do with their existing analogue answering machines.
I have scoured the DB Programming fields for ages & I can't find anything that would help, also the Admin Mailbox was equally unhelpful.
Can anyone in the Massed Might of the Mitel Forum come up with a solution (Hopefully not one that involves Nu point as I don't think their price point would go that far!)

Cheers
