MiVoice Office 250/Mitel 5000 / Re: Paging override for DND
« on: May 03, 2016, 12:46:10 PM »
This is for a court house. They use the DND so that a hunt group call will advance to the next phone and also so that direct ext calls will go to voice mail without ringing in the cubicles.

MiVoice Office 250/Mitel 5000 / Paging override for DND
« on: May 02, 2016, 05:10:50 PM »
I am looking for a solution that I am not for sure if it is possible. I have a Mitel 250 ver 6.1.3. all phones are the 5360. I would like for an emergency page to be able to override DND is this a possibility and if so how would I get it to work?

Mitel SX200, SX2000, and older SX platforms / Phantom/virtual ext
« on: February 18, 2015, 12:03:29 PM »
Has anyone setup a phantom bay with phantom IP ext? I am trying to create ext that are used as ring points I tried an ONS and a digital line and neither would allow for multiple calls to be answered b different phones. I have 2 answer points that are using up IP licenses that work just fine. Would prefer not to have to use up the IP licenses though
This is an SX200 AX

It depends on the type of SX 200 you have.

How would you go about making that work? The only way I can see that I can make it have a different tone is by programming a DTS key in sub form 9 and in the technical document it state that it can not be a multi-call. Does a all ring hunt group count as a multi call?

[R#: Applies to Key Line (but not multi-call) keys, DTS keys and CO line keys. Enter a number from 1-16 to assign the line a ringing tone. For more information about tones, see Distinctive Ringing Tones.]

Looking for help.I have a customer that has 4 sx 200 2 CXI and 2 AX. He has 5 separate companies using these systems that are linked together. At the main location he has 3 hunt/ring groups separating the 3 companies that all use the same building. He is looking at going to a PRI instead of loopstart trunks. He wants the 2 hunt/ring groups that are all the same extensions to be able to distinguish which Company name they answer the phone with using DID's. Is there a way to label or place a distinctive ring for a specific hunt group based on the number they dialed?

Looking for help on how to route calls from a single 800 number via a PRI to 4  SX 200s all running 5.2.0.12. I know how to do basic programming on these system but not for sure how to get this accomplished. They are all 4 connected using 3 ip nodes at this time. I was told by Mitel this would work. Does anyone know how to program it? I have HG/RG set up on all 4 sites. The PRI goes in to site 1 and customer would like Auto Attendant to be press 1 for site 1, press 2 for site 2 and so on.

Mitel SX200, SX2000, and older SX platforms / analog ringer
« on: August 19, 2013, 02:56:59 PM »
I have a customer that went from a SX-200 CX to a SX-200 AX. With the CX they had an analog port programmed to ring an outside ringer when 4 of their 11 LS lines came in. They do not want a hunt group and that is the only way I can see that the AX can be programmed. Am I missing something from the manual?

I think I have Isolated the problem to one site and not for sure how to fix it.  This site has 10 phones with the AX controller 5 phones are 5330E and 5 are the 5224. I am sure the problems is with the networking, but their IT guys does not know how to help. They have Cisco SA 520 VPN router that per specs is not capable of options 128 or 129. they have a Cisco SF 300-24P switch and our Mitel. DHCP is only working on the Mitel but all the phones and pc's running through the phones had to be manually set.

I think somehow in the networking at this site; the phones and network traffic is getting confussed on the route paths causing the audio loss.

Any Ideas all the phones are setup with the same subnet?

We are using the IP nodes to network the systems together via a VPN tunnel. It worked fine until we added the AX controller. I have  blown MAC address and replaced phones. It did not work. Any suggestions would be helpful.

I have a customer that we just installed a SX200 AX Controller at 1 of 3 sites the other 2 sites are using SX200 CXIs. We are using 2 types of IP phones the 5224 and the 5330e. For understanding I will call the AX site A and the 2 CXI will be sites B and C When using the 4 digit dialing between the sites certain 5330e will not send any audio to both sets of phones. The 5224 work fine and some of the 5330e will send to both types of phones.

Site A has 5 5330e
Site B has 2 5330e
Site C has 2 5330e all other phones at the 3 sites are 5224
Only one ext of the 5330e from site A has problem sending audio to site B. The same applies in reverse.
Site C can only receive audio from the same ext that does not work going to site B.
Site B & C do not communicate on purpose.
software at all sites are using 5.0.2.12
