I haven't used a Grandstream for FXO service, but I have about a dozen providing FXS for some analog devices including faxes that have been pretty solid as long as they get a regular reboot. You can set up a scheduled reboot in the settings, I'd do weekly or monthly.

2
Depending on your schedule rotation needs, YSE may not be the best place to set up the schedule, you may want to do it in the MiVB itself via Business Schedules and re-routes.

3
Contact Center Client can monitor extensions if you have MiCC-Business.

4
You may need to set up an emergency route both on the trunk gateway as well as on the trunks between controllers. That's how my setup is configured, at least.

I would test by setting up a speed call that is their mobile, set this to override toll.
Then forward their extension to the speed call. This should overcome Class of Restriction issues.
That would have been my next suggestion  ;)

This would definitely be the next thing to try, I've run across this issue before with voice mail systems that use SIP integration with the MiVB. I believe I even had to create a specific ARS entry for the external numbers.

The firmware is on the MiVB itself in /sysro/tftp

They stopped making the 5300 series around 2018-2019, not long after releasing the 6900 series. The 5300 phones are still supported, however, and last I heard via a User Group webinar there's no plans to stop supporting the 5300 series sets on the MiVB platform for the foreseeable future.

Thank you gentlemen! With a little poking around I found the Call Rerouting Alternatives field and changed it. This might be just how our system is set up, but if anyone comes across this and changing the first alternative to 2 doesn't work, try 10.

The correct setting will depend entirely on how your specific system is set up. Of the thousands I've touched over the last 20 years, *usually* re-route #2 is set up for voice mail. But not always.

If there was an Line Key appearance of that extension on a phone that was deleted, would it still remove the DID entry associated with the main phone? And if so, why?

I don't think so, at least I've never seen it. I've only seen the DID service entry removed when the primary destination DN is removed, meaning the set that has that DID assigned in the "DID Service Number" field in the Service Details tab in User and Services Configuration.

Are you deleting a set with a DID mapping associated with it? Entries shouldn't just disappear for no reason.

While I'm still on this thread, there are page buttons on the PKMs. The docs seem to indicate you can use them to switch between three pages. However, I can only ever get to page 1.  Is there a trick to going page 2 or 3?

Ralph

It's been a few years since I last worked with it so it may have changed in more recent releases, but my understanding was the M695 only supports multiple pages when connected to a phone in SIP mode, when in MiNET mode, you only get 1 page per PKM.

I'm not aware of any 6900 series devices supporting float keys, but you might want to check the documentation to be sure.

Nope, I was wrong, the 6930 and 6940's support float keys. I don't have any experience with setting them up, however.

Not that I'm aware of.

Check the "messages" log file and see if there's any detail or helpful information there. I've never seen that error before.
