Nothing...  Shows the number dialed after a few seconds that disappears and then says incomplete extension.  Tried recreating to get exact but then the phones started working again :)  but that will not last long.

One day last week and now today we are getting a fast busy signal after we try to make an outbound calls from time to time.  Very random.  Any thoughts or help would be greatly appreciated.

We are planning to add another DID. We already have one programmed 7500 with the number being 513- 457-7500 and we are adding another 7500 but its 513-273-7500. I am no expert and every other time we have added a DID they are different Numbers. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Kipp

Some how a person turned on the hold music to play thru their phone when the phone is hung up.  They can not turn it off nor can I.  Help....   The phone is an old intertel 8500.

MiVoice Office 250/Mitel 5000 / Old Intertel IP 8600 IP phone

I ran across 2 Intertel 8600 IP phones they however are not set up.  I do not have the MAC address and its not on the phone like the others we have.  Also the 8600 does not have a screen so I can not look for it in the screen.  Any ideas?

Thanks for the clarity.  When manually forwarding the phantom to 85555555555 in your example is that in forwarding information Forward Outside #?  I have not touched numbering plans before. so  i am having a problem creating the a new dial rule it does not want to give me that option to create a new rule (add).   What am i missing?  Thanks again.

Thanks for the info.  Its the carrier requiring the codes because I need to track long distance.  I am now looking at using the PBX to do this rather than the carrier.

 "One way would be to forward the phantom to a made up number (5555555555), then create a route group based on that number and facility group that replaces that number with correct number, pauses and account code.  Actually pretty easy."

When you say route group is that a hunt group?  Also facility group?  Sorry I am a not well versed.

I have a Mitel 5000 and when we call long distance it requires an LD code.  After hours i have several extension that will go to a phantom (cell phone) which are long distance so I have to enter in a long distance code. After the caller presses the extension they hear a series of tones and a dial tone before ringing. Is there a way to prevent these tones (sounds).  The caller sometimes hang up before it rings the phone.

Warning I am a newbie.  I have created an application and in the digit translation I have it transferring to an extension.   Actually a phantom that points to an outside number.  When I press 3 it works fine it it dials then number that is associated with the phantom.  When I push 4 i get a voice telling me its transferring to an extension (phantom) and then it rings.  How do i get #4 to ring directly with out the voice saying transferring to the extension.  Thanks  Kipp
