Yes 3515 is disconnecting after the transfer.

Here is an SMDR record for one of the calls:

This call was transferred to 7079398841 and I still don't get why it stays on for the entire duration of the call - They transferred and hung up so why is the call staying on the system?

The biggest issue is it seems to drop the call after 20 or 25 minutes - Wondering if there is a COS timer doing this?

Is it considered normal behaviour for a call to be transferred externally and yet it still consumes trunks on the PBX?

I would think the call should then be removed off the system.....

We have a PRI and when our Reception transfers Calls back out to the PSTN it ties up 2 trunks and stays on our system.
We have also noticed at the 15 minute mark it drops the calls.

Any ideas on how we can resolve?

Older 3300 ICP as well.

I think one of the frustrating parts for many people like myself is the fact that channel partners aren't leveraging using remote resources...The only thing you require locally is feet on the street to rack and stack the gear.
Many Customers prefer training in person too which I did accommodate in the past, although costlier whatever it takes to appease the Client.
I was recently at a company for 3 years where they did use me as a remote resource and it worked exceptionally great. The client base was all in the EST and I am PST.
There were times the Customer wanted myself onsite so I would simply fly out to see them.

I am highly skilled in both MiVoice and MiCC (15 yrs experience). I am an independant consultant/contractor with a registered business and am ready to assist any Mitel channel partner in providing an exceptional Customer service experience.

So if anyone is open to discussing performing some work remotely, feel free to drop me a line.

I am currently located on the West coast of Canada and am in the process of garnering interest in Remote based work.

I currently have 12+ years on the majority of Mitel offerings including being employed at both Mitel and prairieFyre previously. You might ask why I am not still there? The beautiful West coast lured me in and at that time we made the move there was no job transfer available.

I've done everything from Technical Pre-Sales to Project Coordination and even worked as a Field Tech for 3 years.

My bread and butter lies on the Technical side of things as I've mainly done Technical Support, New Installs and Pre-Sales work.

I do have and maintain my Mitel Certifications:

3 time zones :(...

Would any of you do Tenanting for this in order for them to control their own Day/NIght modes?

I have a site with phones remotely connected to it from 2 branch offices in different time zones....They have Failover Gateways on their premises though.

The problemset is.....When one of the branch offices closes for the day, the other 2 are still open.
This branch wants to send calls immediately to the Auto Attendant since Reception is gone for the day.

The 2 options I can thnk of:
1) Day/Night mode with tenanting for the 3 locations so they can control their own Day/Night mode
2) 3rd party call forward the Main Number to Voicemail when leaving for the day....I thnk this is the easier method myself

Any suggestions?

Has anyone used DISA to allow someone to page an IP Page Group? I tried it and receive a fast busy.

It's for a security company that has placed some IP Paging Units near some Outdoor areas...When they see someone who shouldnt be there, they want the ability to call a number and use the paging.

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Call Forward Always and Voicemail

I have a site that wants to forward a Set to another Internal Set but also need it to route to the Voicemail....

Example: 240 needs to be forwarded to 285 but when 285 does not answer, it reroutes to 285's VM....Currently it goes back to 240's Voicemail.

I know there's a way to do it but have since forgotten.
