Hi All,

A user has a Callback message light on her phone which we cannot extinguish from the handset itself, a Mitel Superset 4150, on the sx2000 I can see under active features that there is a message showing but I don't know how to get rid of it!

How do I go about getting rid of this annoying light?

thanks in advance!

Yes Im working in mainly in Ops manager.

I can't see any kind of pre-programmed buttons on either number in OPS Manager.

Hi,

Trying to move a couple of Superset phones, when I try and move one number I get the following error;

Delete remote hosts from remote busy lamp group assignment first

Additional Information: Max Call History Records

I can't find anything on the MAC form relating to busy lamps or call history.

Thanks in advance!

Hi All,

I was wondering if it's possible to copy the contents the MAC Directory list to an Excel speadsheet? I can't see anything obvious in Ops Manager to allow me to do this, is the Directory list kept in a log file somewhere on the nosting server?

Thanks in advance

Hi,

Anyone know if the SX2000 (and MN3300) support Qsig?

Hi,

I've come across this error a couple of times now, when I try and move an extension  it will sometimes error with the message "hot desk pin".

What does this mean?

I'm on an SX2000 and using Ops Manager 10.2.0.116

Thanks in advance

Hi,

The phone is to be located external to our building at the entrance to a delivery yard, the drivers pull up lift the receiver and should be automaitcally put through to a delivery office(it's actually 2 offices located in different parts of the site) who then let them in.

It's on an sx2000.

My knowledge of phone systems is pretty poor, Im from IT support and have taken over from the role with only 9 days handover\training

I have been asked to help setup an external phone for delivery drivers which will automatically call 2 numbers at the same time once the handset has been picked up, I believe that it is called a PBX hotline?

Does anyone have any experience of setting one of these up?

Ok,

It is showing 1 across the board (always alternative numbers and 1st alternative/2nd alternative number), like all the other numbers in the table, do not disturb type is set to all, again like all the other numbers.

Does that mean anything to you? I apologise for my complete lack of understanding all things telecoms, as I think I mentioned before I'm from IT Support so this is all quite foreign to me!

Hi,

I think I've done that, I went into the cu screen and pressed  4 ( I think, to read a form) I then entered hu (hunt group), from there I entered in the hunt group number and pressed 1 (recall), I didn't see anything that jumped out at me as being tied into the voice mail.

I didn't think earth recall was used anymore, it is now a timed based break.

You could get your facilities guys to move a working phone to an outlet where one is not working and test. This should verify cabling or phone issue(assuming programming is ok)

I wasn't sure if this was real thing or not, I'm from IT support and have no previous knowledge of Telecoms, the offices are quite old, from the early 80's so it doesn't suprise me that what we have in place is no longer the norm.

I'll speak to the guys in facilities and see if we can check the issue against other users.

Thanks for your help

Hi All,

I've got a small group of phones (3) in a hunt group which used to go to VM after 2 rings if it wasn't answered, I've confirmed that all 3 extensions are in the hunt group but beyond that I'm stuck as to how to proceed or what to check.

Help!

Thanks for the replys, I've also been told by the facilities guys here that it may have something to do with the wiring in the floor ports, the earth or something?

Hi All,

I keep getting asked by users about their apparent inability to transfer calls themselves, most are using using a BT Converse model phone which has the ability to transfer calls when the user presses the "R" button on the handset, however this doesn't seem to be working for a lot of users now (at least the ones who are moaning about it), I'm sure this a phone feature and not something amiss on the Mitel system (sx2000) but wanted to check with those who have a greater knowledge of such things.

Thanks in advance

Martyn
