If its a 5000 then you have red and green for 5320,30,40 phones (top three keys on 5320 phones do not have any light)
System Flags used are:
1. Allow Green LEDs
2. Use Green LEDs for Direct Rings

If you're using an MBG then you don't have to change a remote phone to NAT
From the help file on the 5000:
If the 5000 CP is not connected to a MBG, and there are remote 53xx series phones outside of the network, then the NAT Address Type needs to be set to NAT.
If the 5000 CP is connected to a MBG with remote 53xx series phones outside the network, then the NAT Address Type needs to be set to Native

They will still have to take the phone in an out of teleworker mode tho...

You might want to adjust system timers: camp-on (default 3 seconds) and camp-on tone  (default 15 seconds) to your liking.

The latest release 6.1 just came out and it has video SIP support

Think that feature is only available on the older digital phones.  Newer 8528s and 8568s do not support it.  The 8528 manual has no mention of it.  the 8568 manual does mention it but it looks like the manual makers probably just cut and pasted an older model phone's manual and did not delete it.

You can use a feature similar to Norstar's Voice Call by:
1. In each phone's "Flag" folder change Handsfree on/off to 'yes'
2. In each phone's "Forwarding Paths" folder change Forward Call Type - IC Calls to 'no'
3. Program a key with feature 377 (Ring Intercom Always On/Off) on each phone

To use:
Key with feature 377 light on: calls to another internal phone will ring until answered
Key with feature 377 light off: calls to another internal phone will ring once then go handsfree

the contextual softkeys are only for 5330s on a Mitel 3300, not a Mitel 5000
5330s on a Mitel 5000 have 3 pages of 11 programmable keys.

Change Answer Supervision Type to "Valid Call Timer with Polarity Reversal"

I  haven't worked with a DMS-10 before but one of our local COs has a DMS-100 and I've had nothing but problems with the Mitel 5000.
Outbound calls cannot be made and incoming calls eventually start locking out the channels.  Mitel tech support blames the telco...  Our company has been installing Mitel 3300s, 200s, Toshiba's and Nortel's KSU with this CO for years without issue using the DMS-100 protocol.
 
I ended up having to change the Mitel 5000 ISDN switch type from DMS-100 to National ISDN 2 for it to work (even though the telco is a DMS-100).  With this setup the Mitel 5000 only seems to be able to send number for outgoing CLID (not name) when connected to a DMS-100.

Make incoming calls go to a menu mailbox in night mode.  You cannot dial an extension from a menu mailbox

You would think there would be a fcos bit to allow people to log into their mailbox when extended absence is enabled but sadly there is not.  The manual states that you should create a "backdoor" number that goes directly to the message center or a call director that can allow remote users to access their mailbox while their extended absence greeting is enabled.

There is an tab on the MiCollab client to export the recording (Recorder > Export Recording)
It will convert it to an .avi file

Actually, the call rings in on the 2nd Call key (the phantom key also flashes)
