Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Re: Presence management?
« on: April 20, 2015, 11:42:59 AM »
The first time HD users have been showing presence through a DSS/BLF button was with flashing a key while logged in and off for logged out. In the COS for later versions of software they introduced the option to report the status through the LED collour of the button. When that is set you will also see "normal" phones being present.

Are you using the green LED? As that is working at my system.

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Re: How to disable SIP REFER?
« on: April 17, 2015, 06:14:42 AM »
The REFER option is triggered through the COS setting of the SIP trunk. The option Two B-channel Transfer Allowed should be set to default and that is NO. Unless your provider is supporting this. :)

7.1 is planned for the last week of April. At the moment Mitel told they are on track. They don't need to "shutdown" the AMC to add a new release.  ;)

If the idea is to have a different forward destination on a per controller base then local only is an option.

Straight in your case. Crossed is for device connections.

I've seen this at a customer. The SIP provider had to change something on there SBC to make it work. In that case the SIP trunks were connected without an MBG and the streaming should be done at there SBC.

The later versions of software on Mitel 3300 use one and the same license for an IP phone or SIP phone. If you are on a load that this you can setup SIP softphones or any SIP phone to communicate.

This is NOT possible. The SIP loopback I mean. The DND override can only work if the DND is controlled by the 3300 and NOT the SIP device. If that is the case then use the Override feature available on the switch.

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Re: Generic SIP Device and Ring Group CID
« on: February 12, 2015, 06:44:27 PM »
This is a known change as the SIP phones are showing the same Display info as the 1 line display phones. If you do not want to show the Ring Group number on the called phone go to release 7.0 and toggle with the second Display option with ANI in the COS of the Ring Group. That will give you the option to either show CLID or RG number/name.

We've done this by leaving both sides at default and that's fine.

With some creativity that is possible. :) Use a trunk connection for as a loop. Based on COR send the Fax through that connection and add the 9.

You should be able to delete. :)

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Re: Relink Training
« on: January 13, 2015, 05:39:31 AM »
That has never been part of a training. If you've received a Relink the Mitel Support engineer told you where to put the file and what to do next.
For Call Control a relink should be named relink.run and must be placed in the DB folder of the system. There can only be one! A reboot must be done to start using the relink. It might de visible after the reboot in the about software information and should always be mentioned in the telnet version.

This is only important if your in a cluster or have IP trunks to other systems. If that is the case then just change the PBX number/CEID.
