You will see a lot of times in SIP that the carrier will only allow public passthrough as by using diverting you are changing the FROM and they will reject the invite or tear it down. That should send the number unless they are rejecting that as well. Do you get CID if you forward to another internal extension?

Do you have call rerouting programmed?

Thinking out loud since I dont have time to lab anymore. But my thought is like Exchange UM reroute a speedcall to ars to vm? So laying it out

Extn 1000 RR FA to 7666
7666 is speed call to 7888 thru ars going to the VM Hunt group 7888 in VM PBX.

Extn 2000 RR FA to 7888 local VM Hunt group 7888.

I wouldn't see why it wouldn't work like Exchange as it is the same concept.

I hate ID-10-T errors. It might be cheaper but seriously devaluing sds and central admin is going to cost a lot more in the long run. When will sales people learn just cause it can be done doesn't mean it should be done. Same reason I don't burn cow pies in my fireplace.

Would have to see the COS of everything involved it would be easy to track down a call in and transfer does it show unknown? My guess is it has to do with the display caller id options in COS.

Why SIP and not just IP trunks? But yes defaults should work since it is Mitel Prop SDP.

Try syncing your system and see if they add sorry you got the reseller you do. If they don't add then they havent even added them to your record at Mitel.

That makes sense give it a shot on setup and ask along the way. It is just a matter like I said of setting up the SIP provider in each of them. The help guide in the 3300 should explain the basics of sip programming. It is truely that easy from the time I set it up.

SIP LINK STATE ALL in the 3300 Mainteance and Diagnostics will show if it is up that is 1/2 the battle.

It is actually very easy just a matter of setting up a sip peer profile on the 3300 help file is helpful. And then setting up a sip provider on the 5000. I didn't look online to see if there is a guide but I did it in a matter of minutes. Those bills you pay to your support company aren't cheap but being a Mitel trained tech is not cheap either.
