Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / ACD Calls not being presented
« on: October 16, 2018, 08:59:44 AM »
We have a situation whereby numbers coming in on a newly provisioned SIP circuit are routing to the path and queuing, but never seem to be presented to the agents that are available.

We have the old DDI still pointed and that is working absolutely fine (they come in from a separate Trunk Gateway)

The new DDI's route in to the ACD path via a nametag huntgroup in order that when they overflow to voicemail, the embedded vm system can ID the mailbox that it should be going to.

The problem we have is that they are due to port to this new SIP circuit so we need to identify why the calls aren't being presented before this happens

Any ideas?

I can confirm this worked. FTP's the firmware files down from the MiVB controller to my laptop. Ran tftpd and pointed the phone to my laptop using the web admin interface, flashed back to MiNet :)

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Reflashing MiNet Firmware to 6900 phone
« on: October 15, 2018, 08:15:26 AM »
Hi all,

In order to get a 6900 series phone to work on the MiVO 250 or 400 systems, they have to be flashed with SIP firmware - no problem.

However I've been given a phone which has been flashed with the SIP firmware and need to get this back working on a MiVoice Business.

Has anyone re-flashed these back to MiNet and got any idea where to start?  :D

Hi Ronan,

Other than advising that MSL is based on CentOS - not a lot. Its not something I've come across the need to do so far.

Are the call reroute settings for the extension setup correctly (i.e. to go to voicemail)?

Hi X-Man,

They're on 8.0

Just found out there could be something else in play here. The ISDN lines come in and hit a Siemens ISDX (legacy system they are slowly replacing with the Mitel cluster). If the call routing on the ISDX doesn't match an extension, it will then kick the call over the to Mitel using a DPNSS trunk.

Now in my head - this shouldn't make a difference. An external trunk call is still an external trunk call no matter where it's coming from...

I'll keep playing...

Hi Petr. Thanks for the reply.

I set this too myself, main difference being is the calls are coming in via DPNSS link rather than the SIP trunk in your environment.

Might be one for Mitel I think...

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Disabling campon/call waiting
« on: May 18, 2017, 11:42:08 AM »
Hi all,

I have a problem whereby if an extension is busy and you call it from another internal extension - you get the engaged tone.

If you all the same phone on it's DDI, so a trunk call from a mobile for example - it camps on/call waits, where I need the mobile phone to get the engaged tone too.

Disabled visual call waiting and blanked the auto camp on field in COS for both the trunks and the user - still trunk calls camp on.

Any ideas? ???  :o
