You can also overflow your ring group as well.

I would suggest to setup a computer or something behind two of the more problem children ie the two people that talk the most and do a wireshark I can almost bet you will see an ICMP redirect. Obviously you will not be able to capture a digital device. This is how we found our with 5312s and 5324s.

If I am reading this correctly this is 100 percent to do with the NAT device. Unfortunately one of the greatest downfalls of SIP is NAT Transversal. I wouls suggest to look at your NAT device SIP/STUN settings a NAT aware firewall will or should pass this information correctly.

The main issue I believe lie in Use P-Preferred Identity Header No in your profile you had this set to yes and Disable Reliable Provisional Responses set to No

Disable Reliable Provisional Responses
Select Yes to disable the use of reliable provisional responses (PRACK) on outgoing and incoming calls, unless the Required Header is received on incoming calls. Most Peers now support PRACK and this can be useful in interoperability scenarios with the PSTN (see RFC 3262). If the SIP Peer also supports PRACK, it is recommended that this option be set to No.

Use P-Preferred Identity Header
If you enable this option, the system uses the Default CPN data to build the P-Preferred-Identity header. No display name is shown in this header. A P-Preferred-Identity will not be included in messaging if the

Ah the lovely ICMP redirect issue. We found the issue after calling for an incredibly varied amount of times ended up being the management module in our clients HP switches this was found through wireshark captures from phone to phone.

Agreed just a matter of building ARS to route the calls by digits dialed to the correct TG.

233
Yes you will need a mail relay enabled server that does not require authentication. Never noticed that there is not a password option.

And yes Ring Cont will ring until answered. Use ACD Express and a Queue alert button is another approach that way they get to at least listen to fun music and you can route them to other locations. I try to advise against keying a pbx even though we do it every day. Let the power of the PBX work for you.

Correct me if I am wrong but "How many lines can you have by phone." This is determined by system and resources. "Can you plug in an external microfon that not pick up the speaker sound so another customer can hear what is said on the loudspeaker." There are conference saucers, headsets and many other options. "Can you plug in an external microfon that not pick up the speaker sound so another customer can hear what is said on the loudspeaker." I would suggest looking into call recording software if that is needed but yes there is record a call. "Is it possible to "pick up"other phones extensions?" Yes it is called remote retrieve or pickup groups.

I have never seen that error before agreed on if other sets types.

237
Yeah it is more than likely an SDP option such as early answer.

As stated make sure you set all options ip, subnet, gateway, and tftp. There are many ways to get to the menu.

1. Hold up and down arrow.
2. Release down arrow.
3. Press 2, 3, 4.
4. Release up arrow.
