Looks like with the YYYY string, I'll have to input each extension individually, is that correct.

Is there a way for me to put in the telephone number that was called in commands, by chance.

The issue is we'd like to find out where international calls were made from, which phone did user use? Thanks.

We have some International Calls on our telephone bill that was made from our Mitel 3300 Mxe Controller , I need to find out what phone extension these calls were made from, once I know the extension I'll be able to narrow it down to the office, calls were made from.  Does anyone know how I can find out the extension, I do have the telephone numbers that were called also.Thanks.

A classroom is getting an external caller calling and using profanity, we want to stop external comings from calling this speicifi extension - I have no idea where to go in the system to stop this?

I don't see command Non-DID extension in Class of Service in this extension's User and Devices I only see it inthe System Feature Settings.

I'm sorry but I don't know where I can go and find a COS on an current unused number to make this change and then assign it to this extension.

Where do I go on Controller to block direct dial calls from calling into an extension?  It's for a 5304 IP Single Line Phone.  Step by Step procedure would ever be so helpful  Please advise.

Unfortunately we do not have any phones that are not being used, can't do transfer?

I did change the COS for the actual phone in the Users and Devices, I went up to 15-25, still didn't work.  15 is the default in the Sys. Feature Settings-Class of Service Options unde the General Tab.

By making changes to the call foward - no answer timer, etc. wouldn't this affect all of the phones on the Controller?

I only want to change 1 phone to ring longer.

Please advise.

Hi John,

I just configured 2 Polycom SoundStation IP 7000's, I configured them through the webconsole.

First I added/programmed them in the Controller as SIP phones and then finished programming them through the web console using Ip address of the polycom. 

Let me know if you need anything else.

Hi,

We have the Mitel MXe 3300.

I need to have a phone to ring longer than 4 rings, maybe change it to 10 rings before it goes to our operator.  I need to make this change on a 5304 IP Phone, is there a way to increase the rings if so does anyone know the step by step procedure to do that?

Is it possible to extend the rings when calling the main line, the line the Receptionist answers and/or if someone calls in and the Receptionist doesn’t get to the phone, instead of the call going to voicemail or (whcich has our night greeting), saying our school is closed can we have something to say that says, please hold, please continue to hold, someone will be right with you, etc. to be on during working hours, like keeping the call  on hold till Receptionist can get to it.   Keep callers on hold and hearing an announcement until Receptionisht picks.  Hope that’s clear.

RESOLUTION FOR MY ISSUE:  So what ended up happening is I had to get our Telecom company involved and they ended up having to work with Mitel and Mitel had them to download and install a patch for this issue and then he had to reboot the system.  Then extensions worked properly again.

Tried that.  Changed to Unlimited in NuPoint Messenger, then calls when to greeting intermittenly, every other call.

There are two extensions that when you call the Operator and get transferred to these extension the line hangs up.
So I ask the operator to transfer me to either one of the two extensions, when she does, the call goes away, silent.  It's only happening with these two extensions no other ones.  These two extensions are voicemail only they are not on a physical phone.  There is programming in the Rerouting and the configurations are fine in the rerouting.  These two lines are programmed in the NuPoint Messenger as Greeting Only. We have the Mitel 3300.  Any idea why calls are dropping/hangining up or what I can do or porgram to stop this from happening?  Thanks.

We want to add two intercoms to a new the exteior of a building.  We have the Mitel 3300 Mxe system, was wondering if anyone had dealings with putting in intercoms on this type of system.
If so can you provide the type of intercom used (manufacturer name and model information) that was compatible?

It ended up being the Dial Plan in Web Utility of Polycom - had to change it several times before it worked.
