Will using a Network Adapter on your laptop, a docking station, and a wireless broadband card cause issues with using Your Assistant, Teleworker, and Certificate Management?  Each device will have a different MAC address correct?

I have a client who seems to be having an issue each time they switch mediums.  My personal laptop doesn't have this issue. I can use YA with my lan connection, wireless connection, and even my T-Mobile tethered G1 using PDAnet. I don't have to reissue a certificate.

I have a 200-ICP running 5.0 software release. I am trying to configure our mobile extension application to display a different number than our companies current caller id tag so our employees can tell when a call is coming to them via mobile extension (without using answer confirmation).

In form 54 I have programmed then Calling Party numbers to test, The Extension, The Desktop Monitor, and the Outgoing Mobile Extension numbers to cover all bases.

In form 22 I enabled CPN

In form 4 I verified option 113 is enabled.

This is an embedded Pri.

Called our service provider to verify that we can substitute outbound caller id.

Is there anything else I am missing?

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / SIP Trunking over the internet
« on: October 26, 2010, 09:01:26 AM »
We have a customer with some grandfather'd pots line as Analog Trunks in their MCD 4.1 SP2 CXI controller.  The quality on these lines are lousy because of their age and the sensitivity of the digital. I was thinking that using SIP trunking we can set up a test trunk to my home office to show the difference in quality using a PRI vs Analog trunks.  So is it possible at some scale to use the public internet to support sip trunking?

In the 3300 and MCD 4.1 controllers, where do you go to change the call forwarding announcements?

example, I want to remove "You are being transferred to...."

This client just needs to purchase the additional mbox licenses then.

Is it true that the only entries you can place in these are extension w/mbox or just a mailbox?

I want to create several entries that forward users off site.  I created speedcall numbers and analog extensions and used call routing tables to forward each analog extension to the speedcall numbers, but MLAA will not let me enter the Analog extensions.

If your service provider removes the override and the telephone number you entered into your CPN Sub form or Assoc. Directory Number form should appear on the external called party's CID.  ATT is telling us that if they remove their screening table there is no database for them to send address information to 911.

But..on my phone (called party) I had the client call my DID, it gave the original "NAME" associated with the PRI but when I hit toggle, it shows the CPN Substitution number I programmed for DID group A and a different one for DID Group B.

I believe if ATT sees that I am sending 555-555-1234 on all outbound calls for group A, then that 1234 should have an address associated with it.  If I send 555-555-4321 for group B, there should be another address associated with that number.

My questions is this, all my traces and even external calls i received from the client shows it works correctly, what is the process that most service providers and 911 databases have to do to make sure an address is associated with these numbers?

Anyone have any experience with these applications being ran over a broadband network such as Verizon, Sprint, or ATT?  There seem to be some authentication issues going from a wireless/wired Cable/DSL connection which works great authenticating and performance than it does with wireless broadband cards which causes the YA application to load slow and return with a - hostname\usernme does not have an account on the YA server.

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Potential memory issue

Can anyone verify that the memory in this controller is unusually resourced out for a MCD 4.1 with only 227 IP Devices running on it?

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / CESID -
« on: August 17, 2010, 03:36:09 PM »
If the controller is programmed correctly to out pulse a default CESID instead of the CO. What would we have to have the CO do for this to work? Remove Outbound Caller ID outbound?

28
I think the CO has that DNIS digit forwarded.  And that is causing the delay.

I have a DID that is suppose to ring to the AA. I have a single line appearance on a virtual pkm for 0817 with no mailbox.  I have this number call routing to the voicemail hunt group so the system greeting will answer. but it's taking 4-5 rings for the system greeting to answer.  How can I get this inbound call to ring immediately to the system greeting?

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Re: Routing "0" to operator.
« on: August 05, 2010, 11:10:08 AM »
I may clueless on this part, I know how to make this work on a 200 ICP but not on a 3300, I can put each group of stations in different tenants but as for routing default operators to a specific location I have yet to find a option that says, route default operator here for Day, N1, and N2.

I did use the intercept handling form to send unassigned directory numbers to a station but it also bring mis-dials there too.

Now I have seperate tenants for each location with the trunks, voicemail port tennants and record a call vmail port tenants able to be called from all other tennants.  Now where can I assign a default operator for each tennant?
