MiVoice Office 250/Mitel 5000 / User Announcement before Transfer

On a Mitel 5000 system with Mitel 5320e phones, I listen to a Voicemail message, then I want to transfer this voicemail message to another mailbox.

The prompts say this:

'To forward a copy of this message to another destination press 3'  (I then press 3)
'Enter destination mailbox' (I then press 6472)

Here's the issue, the extension is correct however the name that is verbally announced is incorrect.  How can I change this announcement?

I wish we had the 3300.  But no, we are on the Mitel 5000.  There is a 'Twining On/Off' feature that I can program through 'Programmable Keys'.  I put in number 364.

Thanks Tech Electronics, you're always very helpful.  I couldn't get it to work so I went into Dynamic Extensions and just did 'Twining On/Off' and am using two extensions instead of one.

Hello,

I have a user who has both an external Mitel 5320e phone and an internal Mitel 5320e phone.  Is it possible for these two phones to ring at the same time and it have the same extension?  If not possible, what's the best way to accomplish this?

My CPU usage is now 100%, it looks like most of the usage is coming from the 'Application' as opposed to 'Users'.  Can anyone tell me what logs to look at to troubleshoot this?

We have a Mitel 5000 system.  We are experiencing some lag/delay not when a call comes in but only when we try to transfer that call out externally (cell or landline).  I have downloaded all the Log Files.  I want to see how much resources my system is using, particularly CPU and Memory usage.  A Mitel tech informed me that this lag on the phone calls could be due to a feature we use where Voice Mails are sent directly to our employees emails.  He stated that this puts lots of strain on the phone system.  We have about 78 users and we have about 15 users that have this feature turned on.   Any other suggestions or perhaps can someone point me in the right direction as which specific logs to look at?

You can enter Teleworker Mode by pressing 7 and powering on the phone.  Then just follow the prompts.

Hello,

New to the Mitel 5000 system.  We have an external/remote user already successfully using their Mitel 5320e phone.  So it is communicating with our public ip and forwarding correctly through all necessary ports on our firewall.  I just want to replicate this for another external user.  Can you instruct me where to go in the Mitel system to configure this.  Thank you.

Hello,

Something that should be very simple.  I have a Mitel 5320e.  I want to implement speed dial by pressing one button.  On the phone itself I'm able to press 'Alternate Map' and then press an individual button, it then says 'Undefined Key Value', I enter in an extension and all is well.  I just want to know how to delete this entry.  I'm not able to see this entry when launching Mitel Database on the server.

So I just reset the phone by holding * & 6 and the issue is gone.  I guess it was some setting on this individual phone.
