It will do it with SIP depending on carrier restriction. Good joke to play on the spouse is change the CPN to the dreaded in laws.

There is not a real easy solution as what you are trying to do is make a voip pbx into a key system. You can do direct line select with a FAC but as far as lighting a light that is another story that someone can give more information on. I try to really steer people away from this as it makes a mess in programming and negates the power of voip pbx.

Yeah that is what is at the heart of the Cell phone scandal that was recently going on. This is an option that can be changed in your voicemail under personal options.

Wow thanks for the info. MBG is pretty secure as I have had pen testing done on it. That is a ton of ports to open that is why I have it on a dedicated wan.

How do you have this connected to the machine com1 would be the built in serial typically. Those settings are the right speeds, bits, and parity.

I dont recall seeing that in a display before is that all it says blinking cursor anything of the sort.

Always take all equipment and racks to a ground buss bar, a ups, and onsp cards in the asu's. We get a lot of lightning around here and yes it is a good revenue steam but with this method we have never lost a 3300 so far. We have lost some old ons cards but this is resolved now with onsp cards haven't lost a card since. As far as pri they should already be grounded if the telco installer knows what they are doing and they typically ground to their copper or to the buss bar as well. Use ground lugs on the Mitel systems to make a proper connection.

First off you break apart firewall rules to minimize the attack area opening that many ports you are a sitting duck there should be a list of ports that need open for the traffic coming in and going out these are the only ones that should be opened. You just opened 64000 ports to the outside world compared to 1000. The reason a dmz configuration is for just that it doesn't apply wan to dmz restrictions to it typically and segregates it from the lan. I am assuming that might be where the issue resides is that it is configured in the firewall for dmz and the rules are not setup to allow that traffic back from lan to dmz. I would highly recommend to fix your firewall change. It isn't and issue having MBG and 3300 on the same network.

Might as well make that a happy face bob got a long ways to go I haven't slept in 3 years. Two 3 year old girls and one 1 year old boy it only gets better though you stop needing sleep after 6 months.

Yes you are correct Bob.

Setup an ip device only and setup a user set the class of service for hot desking. Open up the help file and it should give you more details.
