Hi there is it possible that a Mitel 5330e can use a local DNS extension for our network?

Hi there
  where is the settings for 802.1.x authentication for a Mitel 5330e? I want it to authenticate against Packetfence before allowing it on the network. Is it found  in the options after pressing the arrows on the Mitel 5330e while rebooting? Anyone?

 how do I set up the phone for 802.1x option? We are trying to get our phones to register to our authentication server (Packetfence) before assigning it an ip. Thanks :)

Hi there
just wondering how I can change the name at the bottom of the screen Home Screen of the Phone where the page usually is? Usually it just shows the page number but for some reason it is showing the name instead of the number.

Hi there
We have an contractor who is located in our building with their external number. This number is call forwarded (internally) from our Mitel phones.
When people cant reach them they press 0 to return to the attendant which goes to our front desk. However they want to disable that so that our receptionist isn't bombarded with callbacks. How do I disable that on each of the extensions.
For example the external number is 555 555-5551 (this number is not on our system)
Our voip numbers are 9990,9991,9992,9993. On the nupoint system the attendant extension is blank.
Any suggestions?

Hi there
I'm trying to figure out why on our virtual machine cannot https to our vmcd whenever we vpn from outside of work. All of the other Mitel 3300 Controllers work just fine for telnet, https, etc. Is there a setting I need to change in this particular one to allow to allow a specific network to access it via https?
I can get all other Mitel 3300 controllers including this to work whenever I vpn in or access it at work.

Hi there
4 digit dialing to our fax machines is working (send and receive) but when you use try sending to it from the outside it doesn't pick up. We are able to send faxes just not receive from outside.
Any idea?

 I have a group of 4 phones that are in a ring group. Is it possible to setup a voicemail inbox for the shared number? Will each phone have a message indicator? If not how can we do that. Thanks :)

Hi there
 I installed 4 phones last week (tested) and all were working. This morning 2 of them are now displaying "Waiting for Lan link to come up". The phone, cables and ports are all fine. Thoughts? Help!

Hi there
for some reason whenever my phone rings there is no sound. you can the incoming calls and lights flash. The volume on my ringer is turned up. Also When I use speaker I hear nothing. I do not have a head set enabled. Help!

I have a request to one phone number on multiple sets (4 in total). They want a call center type set up. Can this be done? I'm using a Mitel 3300 with 5330e phones. Any advice or how to would be greatly appreciate. Thanks!
