have a mitel mcd 3300 rel 8.0  with sip trunks the sip trunks are working audio is fine incoming and outgoing are fine the customer has an embeded vmail and it has an option that dial an offsite call center then then transfer back to the site via a DID
it looks like this operation locks up a link on the sip trunk and doesn't release it  a busy and a RTS of the peer tears down the link

here is what it looks like   anything thoughts or ideas how to tear down these calls?

have a flakey issue have 1 or 2 phones that show invalid or access denied when dialing certain out side numbers  Have tested with another phone same cos same cor same tennant same interconnect same zone one phone works fine one doesn't anything I am missing on the phone that doesn't work I deleted it and reprogrammed same issue

have a multi site customer with a 3300 ISS at each site rel 7.1 load 13.1.0.33
 each site has their own sip trunks( same provider at both sites) it has  been installed and working fine for years within the last week they say the calls drop after 5 minutes
what is actually happening is the audio on the call goes away  after 5 minutes if you put the call on hold and pick it back up it will work for another 5 minutes
there is no MBG   the provider has router at each  that is the gateway for the 3300  it also handles the vlan for the phones   i know it is something with the RTP stream to the phones and I know the router is the most likely cause I guess I need direction on how to prove that   the sip capture from the ISS is only the SIP portion of the call it doesn't show the rtp portion

the carrier is playing it is  the pbx card cause they see a BYE from the PBX  the only reason for that is the mitel user doesn't hear anything and hangs up  I was able to recreate the issue on a call from the customer  to my office  and I told the customer if the audio goes away hit hold and pick me back up and it worked we spoke for 15 minutes so he had to put me on hold twice

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / deleting an event in scheduler

I am trying to setup an automatic day night schedule as a test and can't seem to delete an event  the edit and delete buttons are grayed out when i high light an event
tried to set the date back to before the event was scheduled just but same result

mitel 3300   6.0 sp3  rel 12.0.3.15  CXII  1025 MB ram

customer mxe II controller was upgraded to rel 8 sp3 from rel 6.2  6 months ago and had been working fine, the layer 2 switch developed the problem where after 15 minutes the Lan connection would fail couldn't ping controller and all phones lost connection.  we replaced the controller moved the I-button and harddrives  the system booted up but to the older rel 6.2   does the upgrade live on another partition? is there a way to set it to boot up on the rel.8 partition    do i need to change the boot string in the maint port or can I use the swap command from the maint commands in the esm?

any thoughts or input would be much appreciated

have a few question still a but new with this stuff  customer has an existing virtual mbg with 7 teleworker phones now they are going to give micollab to 12 other users  I have the licenses for the virtual application and the 12 users. the question can I install it on the existing VM that runs the MBG  and use the existing app record to license   or do I need a new VM  that runs the micollab and create a new app record?

Have a customer who updated from 7.1 to rel 8.0 sp3  14.0.37 was updated in AUG 18 and worked fine until last week   now whenever they log into system the system admin page loads but without showing any form or list of forms  . tried at least 10 computers that previously worked  included two of my laptop which talked to another controller with the same release hours before.
Mitel said it may be an issue with a bug that certain SATA drives  but I have not heard back from them I gave them the info off the drives
anyone see this before

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / MXE 3300 dual framer audio issues

Have a customer at rel 6  that is looking to go to release 8.0 for the 6900 series phones right now they have 2 pri thru a fiber module and an NSU
we are trying to install a dual framer to eliminate the nsu    we added 1 digital link license installed the card and were going move one pri over to the new card  to test then move the other pri over  then remove the fiber module and nsu  then upgrade to rel 8.0

the issue is we have tried 3 dual framer cards in multiple slots when we test the pri we get garbled audio buzzing and static you can tell someone answers but the sound like donald duck and darth vadar underwater when a call is made the ringback tone sounds like a ground humm   any thoughts on what is causing this

we have a new 3300 installed with 6920/ 30 and 40 sets  the issue we have is this is a law firm and the have secretaries picking up for several atty's   they have  key system keys for each ext appearance of the atty's. when an internal call comes to a key the label changes from the ext to the calling party's ext number  so they don't know how to answer it  we basically need the label to stay in place at all times
this also occurs with inbound external calls the caller id comes up on the label again  is it possible for the label to stay and the caller id info can come up on the larger part of the display

trying to run a report   the customer wants a detail report of all calls made during the week emailed to the mgr.

ran an extension phone number /location report for the week for all exts  and it created a report for each ext( 25 of them) for that time period  the customer wants basically a laundry list of calls made during the week with the ext number.

I tried a site trace in one report  it listed all the calls by time  number dialed  but not the ext number

any guidance or thoughts would be great Thanks

Have 3 5330e phones plugged into a Meraki 350-48FP.  the phones reboot very close to or exactly at the end of their dhcp lease

3300 release 5.0sp2 

logs indicate heartbeat server lost connection

network people swear this switch is setup just like other meraki in the network which don't have issue

will try and set a  phone to static to see if dhcp problem

any other thoughts?  sip alg settings or ICMP settings in the switch that might screw with the phones?
