Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / DID Forwarding question
« on: June 26, 2017, 05:02:23 PM »
Hello,

I just had a quick question about forwarding a DID (416 xxx xxxx) that translates to a 4 digit number within our 3300 to a specific queue. Is the proper way to do this by a simple speed dial or is there other programming involved?

Thanks as I didn't see a specific answer in the search.

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Speed-dial pause from AA
« on: April 21, 2017, 02:04:52 PM »
Hello,

I have been testing a speed dial pointing to an auto attendant then pause and hit an extension. This is working, however I also need it to work from the with external calls hitting the auto attendant. I have set an internal mailbox to point to the speed dial but when I call the auto attendant and type in the number the call forwards to the other gateway but does not pause and dial my extension. Am I missing a step here?
Thanks

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / How to Stop DGT TRACE Command?
« on: April 03, 2017, 04:58:01 PM »
Hello there,

I typed in the command with an area code instead of a full number and it seems to be returning data forever. I have tried DGT TRACE end, stop, cancel with no luck. Anyone have an idea how to stop the command from running?

Thanks

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / 3300/Foip faxes not answering??
« on: February 04, 2017, 12:01:57 AM »
3300: 7.2 SP1
Faxmaker 18.2 running on 2008r2

Hi guys,

We suddenly got alarms on both our gateways at 2 different sites that are both connected to a separate Foip server (connected via SIP?). We noticed it earlier today and could not figure out the issue. I engaged the vendor who rebooted the gateways tonight with no luck and I rebooted the foip servers, we now have our primary/secondary gateways showing this alarm and no fax lines are answering (look fine within faxmaker though). Does this have to point to a network issue at this point, cause I really am clueless here as not aware of any network/fw changes recently.

I can ping between the 3300's and foip servers both ways as well.

Mitel Software Applications / MiCC- YSE
« on: May 09, 2016, 04:20:50 PM »
Hi everyone,

I was just wondering about Queue Abandon handling, specifically long abandon. Where would this be set under YSE?
I have set service level goal/time, short handle and short abandon but I am not sure if there is a long abandon objective or if it is a calculation from the others?

Thanks

Mitel Software Applications / Prairiefyre 6.0.3 - Report question
« on: August 26, 2015, 11:30:18 AM »
Good day everyone,

I was just wondering if anyone knows how I would go about running a report for all numbers that have called in for a specific time frame?
I'm not sure if this is a trunk report, would require call accounting or even the voice provider to provide these details?

Thanks

: It looks like it might be the DNIS Accounting Trace under call accounting/carrier reports/DNIS reports. However I think I would need the termination points to our PBX from the telecom provider in order to determine this.

Introduction and Announcements / Intro

Hello everyone,

I have tried to reference how to do many tasks through the Mitel Systems before putting in a ticket with our vendor. This has normally been difficult to find complete answers (Prairiefyre takes the cake on this one). I am hoping to be able to find a lot more information here as well as share anything I've already come across in my experience.

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Call Forwading
« on: June 25, 2015, 03:43:06 PM »
Hi Everyone,

I did search around but couldn't find any answer to my task so far.

3300 MCD 6.0 SP3
Nupoint 6.0

I'm trying to call forward an extension to another extension which is working with always call forward. However when the other party does not pickup, the voicemail is the original extension and not the destination's voicemail. We use Nupoint for our voicemail system so I am not sure if I have to use Alt. Extension #1 or if this is just a setting in the 3300. I tried setting rerouting always to the destination extension as well and call rerouting 1st alt but didn't help.

Thanks
