Mitel Software Applications / Micollab with two MBG

Hi ,

I have :

-Micollab in LAN
-MBG1 in DMZ1
-MBG2 in DMZ2

i want to use two MBG for resilience

so from internal DNS : mbg.mycompagny.com resolve Both Mbg1 and Mbg2
From Extenal DNS : mbg.mycompagny.com resolve both Mbg1 and Mbg2

When MBg1 and MBG2 runs , evertyhing works.

But when i shutdown MBG1 i'm not able to switch to the second MBg2.

Maybe because External DNS (record type A) can't switch to the second Mbg ?


Any help will be appreciated.

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / ACD PATH in resilient mode

Hi ;

i just want to know how you are doing to make an acd work in resilient mode.

 I have two Pbx in cluster/resilient. the goal is to operate my "workflow" when I switch to the second PBX .


i have DID +1xxxxxxx --> 2*60 (phantom extension) call rerouting always to :

12 : day
11 : night 1
10 : night 2

Route 12 --> acd path 1*111 ---> interflow 1111 (Nupoint mailbox call flow)
Route 11 --> acd path 1*222--->  interflow 2222 (Nupoint mailbox call flow)
Route 10 --> Accd path 1*333--> interflow 3333 (Nupoint mailbox call flow)

Everything works when i'm connected to the first Pbx.

but if i shutdown Pbx 1 how can i make it works ? because Acd path are not resilient .

Any best practice will be appreciated

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / DHCP with two controlers

Hi ,

I have two controllers:

Pbx 1 : 192.168.1.1
PBx 2 : 192.168.1.2

I use Microsoft server for DHCP .

It's possible to put in the option 125 for call server and tftp server the ip address of my two controllers ?

How can i manage that ?

i want to monitor the new phone 6920,6930, 6940 with web ip address.

But i'm not able to logged in with

Login : user
password : blank

as mentioned in the guideline (attached)

Any idea ?

Hi ,

I have to ipconsole attednant (1111 and 2222)

Both of them receive call from  + 1xxxxxxxx11 and +1xxxxxxxx22

I want to know how many calls 1111 takes from +1xxxxxx11 and from +1xxxxxxx22

Maybe i can do it by SMDR with this command : LOGYSY READ smdr into <FILENAME> ALL MATCH >number ( where number : 1111)
but i don 't know what Is the filename.

attached an example of i have with the command  LOGSYS READ ALL

It's possible to make from my phone a forward to antoher destination for another phone?

I know it's not clear :-)))

So from my phone 1111 i want a key (Enable/disabled) allow me to forward the DN 2222  to extension 3333.

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Call forward external destination

Hi ,

When internal number 1111 call 2222 ( and 2222 forward call to mobile ) : 1111 are able to join the 2222 mobile.

But when i call from outside with my mobile -->  2222 , i'm not able to join 2222 mobile

i , can see the Dss flashing but when i press the DN to pickup the call i have " not allowed"

Hi guys ,

there is only one command line to logout hotdesk users  " LOGOUT HOTDESK ALL"

If i want to logout only one user , to delete it from micollab , i have to change the password user then login/logout from my deskphone then i can delete it.

There is no command to logout only one user ?

Mitel Software Applications / Plugin skype one way audio

Hello guys, I have an issue with oneway audio between my deskphones and my micollab skype plugin. When the deskphone user call the plugin user. The plugin user can hear the deskphone. On the other hand the user of the deskphone does not hear the user of the plugin. Both are in the same network. The plugin has the teleworker box checked

I have micollab in lan mode and mbg in dmz.

Any idea?

Hi ,

I have a micollab 7.3 in lan mode with a MBG in  Dmz

Micollab: lan address 192.168.1.1

Mbg.mycompagny.com / public address: x.x.x.58

conf.mycompagny.com / public address: x.x.x.59


I look at the engenieering guideline, but I do not understand how I have to redirect AWC in the firewall

Ps: I'm in version 7.2 so I have to use two external addresses.

Any help will be appreciated.

Hi.
From nupoint mailbox used as call flow. When i forward a call (blind or supervised transfer)  to mivoice console. After 125s ( no answer forward timer)  i have a message "welcome to message center....."   if there is any way to keep the call in the console untile the operator take the call?

Hi,

I have two mcd in two different cities. The phones communicate with each other by their Dn. I want to check the Qos from end to end. From phone A> switch A> router A to Router B> switch B> Phone B. How can I check the Dscp on all devices? With a trace wireshark port mirroring? Another question. The Dscp is on the sip or rtp stream or both? Thanks
