I have an issue in one of our site with PRI link - when the users try to call forward to any destination (mobile or national number) it works , but when they try to forward (call forward always) to our main number ( in another city) it doesnt work.

we are able to call this main destination , the issue is only when we try to use the call forward always- to this destination.

 i have already open a case , but i have no answer . Any idea please ?

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Backup Mivb from MSL

when i try to backup the Mivb from MSL : an error has occured while preparing the system for backup. Plese see log for more information.

Does any one know the name of the logs to check in the "view log files" ?

hi guys ,

i have a customer with Sip dect OMM 2.6.4 ,(RFP 31 base stations) , i need to upgrade to v8 if it's possible. I know that i have to upgrade to V3 then V4 then v6 ....

but i cant find any process to do that.

any help please

Hello fellows,

Do you know where the ip address of the call server is located except in the lan configuration, the network elements, the trunks icp networking and the msl / dhcp?  I have upgraded + changed the ip address , and the phones are still trying to contact the old ip address of my call server.  In option 125 I have the new ip address, and I reset factory all phoned, but they are still trying to contact the old address.

Any idea

Mitel Software Applications / Micollab client error

hello fellows,

I have an issue with the micollab client V8.
micollab server: 192.168.2.10

if i install the client in the same  subnet it works 192.168.2.0
if i install it in the 192.168.1.0 subnet it doesn't work.
I have error 41 which corresponds to a port 36008 or firewall problem.

I don't have a firewall between these two subnets and the TNA tells me that port 36008 is open.


any idea ?

Hello fellowsn

when the phone switched from the Primary ICP to the Secondary ICP due to connectivity reasons... it lost contact with the Primary ICP and went into "failover" to the Secondary ICP. when the primary return to services , some phones return to the primary , but some others (same model, version , firmware) stay in the secondary even if we try to force a phone back with the Hst_cancel command. we have to restart the phones to resolve the issue.

any idea why ?

Hello fellows, I have set up a call coverages on a MiVoice Business console to play a hunt group rad while the console is ringing.  On the 1st call I can hear my huntgroup playing, on the other hand if I have a second call I hear the dial tone and I don't have the hunt group message.
I have two rad port in my rad hunt group. If i call my two rad ports i can hear the music.
 An idea ?

I have a major alarm on of of our PBXs: "There is a mismatch between the Trunks - Used count in the System Capacity form and the trunk count output by the Alarm maintenance command."

vMivb V8 , any idea ?

on the last release 9.1, I can't go to the server-manager from the ESM main page.

Even if I've already checked "server manager" for my system login in "user authorization profiles"

does anyone have the same issue?

SIP On Mitel / Sip dect omm v6

Hi guys,

In the customer office , I have only one master rfp35 which acts as omm server.  In the sip dect I see it disconnected (red cross), and I don't know what I have to do to switch to green and be able to register my phones.  An idea ?

Hi guys ,

i set a DID speedcall to my acd path number (inside I put a hunt group to play "we are currently closed"), I have no interflow.

what I want to do is stop the call after playing "we are currently closed.....(so in the COS of the RAD), I adapted the "Answer Plus Message Length Timer" to the time of my message.

but when i call my DID number, after "we are currently closed ..." i can hear my music on hold . In my Acd path , the MOH is set to "none"

any idea?

I would like to upgrade a virtual Mivb from V8 to V9, do I have to deploy a new VM in V9, run the Migration tool to recover a validated backup and then make a clear hardware Id of the VM on V8 and do then a restore  on the V9?

do you have the right method please ?

when the primary ipbx is down, on older 5xxx phones you could see on the screen that the phone is attached to the secondary ipbx.
with the 69xx this is no longer possible.

do you know how i can know if i'm on my primary or secondary ipbx?

i need to know because i have emergency phones which can't be resilient on the secondary ipbx, and i need to know that the primary ipbx is turned off.
