Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / ISDN Inward Dialing Modification

I am looking at switching PRI lines and the new carrier will be sending 11 digits.  The current carrier is sending 4 digits.  I have looked in the forms and when I look at the ISDN Called/Calling Party Inward Dialing Modification form it says they are for the E1 ISDN.  Where should I look for the PRI lines here to achieve this?

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Transferring calls to voicemail

I have a question and was wondering if anyone else has run into this.

We have a main number that comes into a hung group to the receptionist.  They then have the ability to press the "Envelope" button and then the extension number to send the caller directly into the persons voicemail.

There is another number that comes into the receptionist and when she does the same procedure above it sends it to the default voicemail for the system. 

What I found was that the main number was set to Voice in the hunt group and the other number was set for NameTag.  I was able to change the other number to voice and confirm that it will allow the receptionist to send the caller directly to the voicemail.

Is this correct for Nametag?  I looked through the documents and did not see anything that would explain this change in the function of the "Envelope" button.

I have a 3300 on Release level 7.2, Active Software load 13.2.0.17.  Would I run an upgrade or full install when going to Release Level 8.0 PR3, Active Load 14.0.0.97?

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Call distribution

I have two PRIs at two different buildings.  The two PRIs have 5000 minutes of calling each month.  I need to balance out the calls so I make as much use of the 5000 minutes on each PRI.  I am thinking that I create a trunk group that alternates between the two PRIs trunks set for circular.  i.e. 1, 24, 2, 25, 3, 26, 4, 27....

Thoughts on this?  Will it work the way I am thinking it will?

SIP On Mitel / UC360 echo issue

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Maximum ringing IP phones

I have been searching for an answer to this and I am in the process of opening a ticket with our Mitel vendor.  I was wondering what is the maximum number of ringing IP phone sets on a Mitel 3300 with version 8.0 PR3.  14.0.0.97.  I see from notes and other posts from 32 (the number of phones in a group)

Here is what I am looking at for this issue.  I have a front door phone that when the button is pushed it dials to a suite that has six analog extensions tied to it.  The IP phones in the building all have a multicall button programmed on the phone set with one of these six analog extensions.  I have approximately 130+ phones that are set up like this.  It is my understanding that not all these phones will ring.  I would agree with this with analog phones and possible digital phones that would have a ringer equivalence number, but these IP phones get their power from the network POE switch and would not draw down like the REN phones would.

Thoughts?

Has anyone worked with the Mitel Aastra 430 switch?  If so, is it possible to get the switch linked to a 3300?  The Aastra 430 is a remote site.

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Service Label field

Hello all.  I am looking for some information on the Service Label field in the 3300 User form.  It currently gets automatically filled with Phone Service.  Where does this information get used?  I see in the manual you can put in Desk Phone as an example.  Is there a use for this information in a program from Mitel?  Or is this just something we can use for sorting records on an export?

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Unable to FTP Traffic logs

I am trying to use the schedule task to FTP the traffic logs off the switch.  I am getting a failed message.  I was wondering if anyone else has a problem with it.  I do have a task to backup and it does not have a problem with the FTP transfer. 

Mitel 3300
    Release level: 7.2 SP1 PR1
    Active software load: 13.2.1.27

Error Message:

Mitel Software Applications / Teleworker IP address change

I have a question in regards to the Teleworker.  We had an issue last Friday where our IP address to the outside world suddenly changed.  The logs showed a change at 6:30 am when it looks like the application goes through a morning restart.  There were two lines that indicated an Old IP and New IP. 
The configuration file for the IP address indicates that the file is generated by the Mitel Networks SME server.  Is this a server that Mitel controls and the Teleworker connects to?  Is this similar to how the system checks the license?

Hello,

     I am looking to increase the ringer for the second line on a multiline phone when the user is on the phone.  It currently is a short burst and users are saying they do not hear the short burst and would like it a little longer.  I have looked through the COS and System Options and do not see anything for this.  Is it possible to increase this ring time?

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Ring Group Overflow

I am having a problem with ring group overflow problem.  It works with internal calls, but external calls they do not get routed into the overflow.  I am thinking that is a Class of Service issue, but not sure what to look for.

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Universal NSU - ISDN trace

Is there a way to do an PRI ISDN trace on a Universal NSU with an ISDN line on it?  I have an PRI ISDN on the 3300 controller and can do an EDT TRAC TSP L2L3 command and see the trace.  The command does not appear to work with the Universal NSU, unless I am missing something.
