I had a user programmed for that one.  Problem went away once I deleted the user (I didn't need it).

Another piece of information:  When I press the assigned key or dial it, I get CALL ROUTING FOR PATTY (that is the person's name), but when I dial anyone else or press the button, I get IC TO GRANT (the caps are meant to represent what the the phone displays, not to shout.)

I don't have another phone to swap...do you mean an administrative swap?

By the way, this is a version 6.0 with a 5330 SIP phone.   It is NOT the only 5330 on the network.

I have all but one phone doing this properly.  I have triple, checked that forward Intercom calls is set to no in forwarding paths and the handsfree flag is set to on.  One of the phones rings on Intercom no matter what I do.  Can anyone tell me what I am missing?

If you go into phone programming and set the ICP, TFTP, and ICA (I think) to the local IP of the 5000, no question it would work.

As for without changing the settings in the phone (Plug and Play wherever you are), it doesn't sound like it would work.  Either the ISP is stopping it or your firewall is.  Who is your ISP by the way?

Another solution might be to take a phone that is already onsite, and have it set to ring with your IP phone.  Do you always work remotely or does the customer?

Here is the situation:  I have one line being shared between a fax, an NEC SL1100, a Mitel 5000, a Transtel Lynx, and a Transtel TDS 600 (these are demo systems in our store).

So that faxes go to the fax machine, and voice calls go to whatever demo system we need it to, we have a Viking V1000 routing the calls.  A switch at the front directs which demo system the voice calls go to.  It works except for one thing.

Voice calls are not ringing the Mitel 5000

The other three systems ring and show caller ID just fine.  If I press the line key I can answer the call on the Mitel 5000.  I added a Viking ring amplifier, and the system did ring, but no caller ID comes through.  With the ring amplifier in place, I tested with a Caller ID buttset, and I did get caller ID.

My Question:  Is there some setting I am missing that might make it work?  Or is it a quirk of the 5000?  I doubt I will run into this into the field, but if I could fix this, that would be great.

Depends on your ISP.  Some do not let you "hairpin" or "Round Robin" communications like that.  Is the system behind a firewall, or is it directly on an outside IP (I have heard of people having better luck that way as the Firewall may also be preventing communications between the phone and the system).

That answered my question by the way (regarding the lights).  Thanks!

What about the page?  Shouldn't there be more than one page?

I have installed a 5000 with several 5320s and I am using trunk keys (they only have 3 lines)

The keys light up with the 5330s, but not on the 5320s.  Is that normal or am I missing something?

Also, there is only 1 page for the 5320s (I thought there were 2?)

Does anyone know what the part number for a loop start bay card is (the kind that goes into the controller?)

This is for a version 6 5000 (I believe it is what's known as an HX controller).

Yep, no 999, just 911

They're 5.1xx so they would have to update....
