Try it with a Key System appearance instead of multicall and see if that does the trick.

Thanks, I tried the DSS/Busy lamp but it also wouldn't let me. At this point, I just created it as a normal user and added Multi-call button to the individuals' handsets. Changing COS "Non-Prime Public Network Identity" allowed me to choose the alternate number and dial out and send the caller ID of that extension (for anyone interested).

Thank you for that! I guess I'm still running into a wall.

We're trying to have a small team of 4 answer customer calls from time to time (should be less than 10 calls a day). However, they want to be able to call a customer back and have the ring group number displayed in the caller ID so the customer doesn't have their DID line number but the DID of the ring group.

However, during business work/calls, they do want their personal DID number to be displayed...

I deleted the ring group and just created a normal user and gave my phone MultiCall for that extension. However, when I click it and make a call, it displays my DID line, not the DID I created. Make sense?

Hello, is it possible to make outgoing calls as the ring group DID number? I don't know what line value I should add to give that option. Multi-Call gives me a "the directory number is in use elsewhere".

An Algo 8301 paging controller can play audio files over the paging output on a schedule. I've got several customers that use this for break/shift change bells, we just play an audio file of a tone. You could do the same thing with pre-recorded announcements, just set up a schedule and play the appropriate recorded announcement for the scheduled event.

I believe we currently use a Cisco ATA. Would the algo replace it?

The 3300 won't be able to do that but perhaps the NuPoint may be able to.

Other than that, I don't know of anything else. It might be fun to create something. Do you have SIP trunks?

We have NuPoint. Any thoughts on how we can do that? I do have SIP trunks.

Does Mitel have the ability to automatically dial my intercom and play a recording? Is it possible to schedule an auto-call?

We have to dial the intercom and make multiple announcements daily over the paging system. I was asked to see if it can be automated. Basically wondering if the system can dial a specific number (intercom) and play a message.

For example, every day at a specific time, we have to remind employees to access a webform to let us know if they will be in the building after hours so other employees leaving don't activate the alarm.

Thanks Steven. I've resorted to IE (via legacy browser GPO settings to force Chrome to open Ignite in IE automatically when the ignite link is clicked) and it seems to be working fine.

Looks like Chrome 90 has removed that flag... So we're back to square 1.

I've replied back on the Google bug tracking site for feedback.

I couldn't find a way to disable that flag via a shortcut switch. I opened a CMD and added that switch you're using but it didn't change the "Throttle Javascript timers in background" flag. If it works, it should be visible by accessing Chrome://flags.

Thanks for the update Sarond. I can attest this will mitigate the issue. (I made the flag change this past Friday and the user reported no disconnection errors all day wherein they used to get it at least 20x a day).

Here's the chrome bug ticket that is affecting this issue. I added the last comment. Thanks Steven for the screenshot (attached it to the Chrome ticket).

Update: I upgraded 2 of my users to 20H2 and they're still having problems. Chrome is still v89...

Has anybody been successful just updating Windows?
