Phone has been working fine until i started messing with it lol..

Until 2 weeks ago, i did not know about the web portal and being able to work on the system inside of this. I have always used the DP Programming software which i find not too hard to use if you know where to look. Anyways, trying to figure out the portal, i deleted my phone and tried to add a new user and device. now, i can make or recieve calls but only on speaker. i am not too sure whatever isnt working as of yet but this is a huge problem. HELP!!

What is interesting is that when i pick up the handset, i says to Enter EXT Number.. So it is seeing it being picked up, just no dial tone.
This same issue is happening on another user I was messing with.

No idea what to do. I have copied every line item from another user, a working device and simply changed that extension to my own and the same issue is happening.

Home the snippit helps.
2022 is not a huntgroup, it is a phantom extension. So this is used pretty much as a hold button.

We have a Brokerage team with a key-map associated and includes Park 1 - 6.. Park 6 is associated with 2022 and when I call, the button lights up on the phone, though does not actually ring the phone. This is intended for our Dispatch department, a group of 8 people, to put someone on hold, yell out "Billie Bob is on Park6" and the proper person will then pick up Billie Bob and work with them.

What we are trying to do is, use this as sort of the same thing, though this new employee is not in the same room and will not be able to hear someone say a call is for them. We would like 2022 essentially ring this other persons extension 246 with an audible ringer so she can hear it. If she is not there or available to pick up the phone, we would like it to either call the initial Dispatch hunt group 2000 or ring back to the person who initially took the call on the main Dispatch hunt group 2000. Lets say it was AJ at extension 267 and have it ring back an audible tone. Again, when someone doesn't pick up the call that was on the Park6, it will just sit there forever and ring back currently, also not audible tone so we do not know they have been on hold for, lets say 20 seconds and someone should be picking up that phone.

What would i need to change to do any of these options?

Defiantly a good point and thank you for pointing it out. I was only curious if there was a limit adjustment. At this point, I have scheduled a meeting with my ISP and providor of the Mitel to support this project for me.

What about the sound level? Is there a setting for this? I have a knob to adjust, though i would assume the 250 has a level itself..

MiVoice Office 250/Mitel 5000 / Paging ext changes needed (Horn Speakers)
« on: January 22, 2019, 10:35:37 AM »
Currently we have a few horn speakers in the warehouse and need to double and triple check all the settings in the system before calling our speakers bad and needing to replace. Issue with this is, I do not know where to start. When the system was installed, they tapped into the pre existing paging system and gave the speakers a extension to page as needed. Somehow they tapped into the old analog system we had and used those wires, plugged into the back of the phone server and it works perfectly.

That said, i was recently made aware of a time limit to how long someone can speak, also a sound quality issue. Now, i would love to toss a new set of speakers and power supply's to the warehouse but i would still have no idea what to do or where to start. Essentially i need to make sure a speaker level is correct, change the timing of how long we can talk over the intercom and if something is needing replaced, where do i start and how do i plug it all in.
