Thanks guys.
I eventually cleared this by inputting 8850 on the one of the phones affected. I had initial been trying the standard 9850 but 9 is our outside line prefix so it didn't work, hence.
Now to see what caused it.  :)

I have the above error on just 2 phones and I can't figure out why.
All other boxes are working as they should.
All e-mail settings value fields are filled correctly.
I have tried clearing messages from the DB consul

Anybody have any ideas where to look next?

DND ON is absolutely correct... and the answer to your question is no, well, most likely not. There are other considerations like software version, license key, compact flash, etc.

Or are you referring to a MiVoice 5000, which is completely different than the MiVoice Office 250 (formerly the Mitel 5000 CP)... the MiVoice 5000 is a rebranded Aastra product.
Thanks for the reply.  :)
We have a 5000 MX ( https://goo.gl/images/zW1PcQ ) and i'm looking to get one to act as a backup so, I'll have time to match the specs.
Would you say this is feasible?

I have a 5000 box that has been a bit flaky of late and I was wondering, if I acquire another 5000, will I be able to upload my DB and xml files to get up and running again?

I 'assume' all should be well but thought i'd ask first as I'm relatively new to Mitel and may well be missing something.

SIP On Mitel / DECT Config on Mitel 5000
« on: July 11, 2018, 09:34:10 AM »
Hi Yall, new to the forum and reliability new to Mitel.

I have a Mitel IP DECT stand connecting to my Mitel 5000 box.
I have a number of portable IP phones that work but one that I cant get to connect and is showing as having an error in the http portal on the Home page.
Configuration is the same across all phones however, I reset the password (VoIP Account #\Password: ) for this particular phone thinking this was the same as the Passcode in my 5000 CP (5000 CP\System\Devices and Feature Codes\Phones\1224\Passcode) but it would seem not as its still showing as Error in the IP DECT configuration.

are these fields connected and if not, what is?
Any help appreciated.
