Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Re: Upgrade Mitel 3300 CX-11 BOX?

I don't think that is something you'll be able to do on your own.
You'll need software assurance and BT will need to be sure you have it before you upgrade.

Ralph

We do have SA.

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Upgrade Mitel 3300 CX-11 BOX?
« on: December 07, 2015, 07:47:39 AM »
Hi All

In short we need to upgrade our Mitel 3300 CX-II box to the latest release. We are being screwed over by BT asking us for nearly £800 for them to do it themselves so hoping some people here have some insight on how to do this as we are hoping to do the upgrade ourselves.

Does anyone know where you can find the download for the latest software release for this particular box??

Thanks,

MiVoice Office 250/Mitel 5000 / DHCP/ Voice Recording question.
« on: November 19, 2015, 05:55:55 AM »
Hi,

In short we are trying to separate the voice and data networks due to the DHCP scope we have in place nearing depletion. However we need the call recording server to have access to both data and voice networks.

What's the best approach to accomplish this? Due to the amount of traffic flowing through it as users playback these phone calls constantly i'm a bit reluctant to setup routing on our edge draytec router.

I do have one idea though and setup 2 NIC cards on the call recording server, one for each network without routing, as the users and telephone network itself does not need to communicate with one another.

Unfortunately the DHCP server on the mitel switch does not seem to be working.

Any thoughts/ better ideas on this?

MiVoice Office 250/Mitel 5000 / Call Quality Issues?
« on: November 17, 2015, 07:21:59 AM »
Hi

I have a user who is complaining about outbound call quality, he's had numerous people tell him that they cannot hear him. As far as i'm aware this seems to be an isolated issue (subject to change as I further investigate), but was wondering what the cause may be ?

The phone is question is a Mitel 5312 on a flat network.

Cheers,
Dan.
