Double checked the exchange server - it's definitely the correct time. Checked all routers etc. Going to reboot the system to see if it picks up the right time after so many tweaks to time on the system. Will let you all know how I go.

Hi Martyn,

I've tried both NTP and manual, both giving the same results. Any other ideas?

Hi Guys,

I added a record to the VM Network Servers form, and made sure the time was GMT +11 for Sydney Australia Daylight Savings Time.

Unfortunately, the test came through for Friday 10 October 2014 6:40am. (It's 9th October 3:40pm at the time of test)

Any other ideas? Perhaps a reboot of the system?

Thanks for your replies.

The emails are embedded with the audio file of the voicemail message.

MCD version:
Release level: 4.2 SP2

There is currently no records in the VM Network Servers form, but I see what you mean. Do you think adding a record with the correct time zone will correct the problem, or since there are no records could it be something else?

Apologies for my lack of understanding, I am reasonably green with Mitel systems  :-[

Thanks for your help :-)

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Future date on voicemail emails
« on: October 08, 2014, 01:26:26 AM »
Hi,

We have our voicemail messages sent to an email address and dealt with from there. In the past couple of days, voicemail messages are being date stamped a day in the future, at completely the wrong time.

I changed the time zone to somewhere in the USA and then back again (to Sydney, Australia time) and tested. It made no difference. The date and time are correct when you actually look at them in the settings of the Mitel Communications Director, but the voicemail email time and date stamp is still in the future. All phones are displaying the correct time and date.

I left a test voicemail today (8th October) at 12:19pm and on the email I got 9th October 2014, 3:19am.

Anyone got any ideas?
