Title: Socket Error in Logs

I have 200 pages of logs all with socket failures.

1.  getMsgFromSocket Failed
2. getMsgFromSocket got 0 bytes on first try - must be socket disconnect.

Does anyone know what this means.  Also FTP backups are failing,  and yes I can ping the FTP Server.

What's the uptime of the system.  My gut tells me that the system may need to be rebooted.
