Title: 6940 Config Password No Longer Works

Yesterday I got my 6940 for my office including a key module and a dect headset.
I hit the config button, hit advanced entered the default password and set it up as my teleworker.
It all worked great.
Today the default password isn't working any longer.  Really weird.  I've no idea how it changed or how to change it back.

Anyone have a clue as to how it might have changed?  How about how to change it back?

The passcode is set in the System Security Management form on the MiVB. It also lets you log into a web interface if you browse to the phone's IP.

Ralph,

I ran into that same problem and it is as Lundah has stated, but once the phone is not connected to the system it reverts back to the 73738 passcode. It is only while the phone has an active DN that the system security passcode is in effect.

System Properties > System Administration > System Security Management > Phone Administrator Passcode: New Admin Code
