Title: How to delete an extion

 am trying to add a phone service to a user but it keeps tell me error The directory number already exists.

when I do a  search under the user and service configuration  by the number it do not exist

I check and found in the Multiline Appearance group there the ext.

But not sure how I go about delete it

I enclosed a pic of it

Please assist thank you in advance

Look in the telephone directory.  I think you'll find an entry in there that needs to be deleted.

Maintenance command... learn them, love them.  ;D

LOCATE NUM xxxx
LOCATE EXTENSION xxxx
LOCATE ALL FREE DN xxxx TO xxxx
LOCATE FEATURE EXTENSION xxxx (Not really relevant here, but it is one of my favorites)

etc... help can be very useful for the LOCATE command.

this ext does not exist in  the telephone directory
When I run
locate command I get
LOCATE: Non prime extension number.  por primary group , etc

It's just a key appearance somewhere... look in the Multikey Group Appearance form or export the button programming form and search for it.
