Title: Mitel 5235 home setup via pc ?

Hi i am totally new to IP phones. i work with one at work and find it interesting and was able to aquire a Mitel 5235. i can't even turn it on cause i need a power source and i wanted to know if i could hook it up to my pc and take home phone calls with it ? i figure that would be a good start. thanks for any help at all.

  No, the 5235 (or any Mitel phone) requires a phone system to connect to.  Such as the Mitel MCD or SX200 ICP.  Now there are some online SIP phone providers that might could get dial tone to your 5235 for you.  You'd have to get it converted over to SIP and have their information to connect to.
