I think they are just SIP extensions. I have not used these, but have used Polycom's wifi phones (8440 I want to say but don't hold me to that model number). They have their own COS and are simply programmed as "GENERIC SIP PHONE" in the 3300.

The 5624 is an OEM ascom i62 handsets. Depending on 3300 software version, you would select 5624 from the 3300/MiVB this would allocate a pre defined sip device capabilities to the user. In essence it is a SIP device like any other. I would recommend getting a programmer or WSM if you have many devices. Also worthwhile trying to get a hold of the ascom interoperability report for your WLAN environment. This will give best practices for setting up the WLAN.
