Title: Upgrade to MiVoive 8 and not IE access.
Post by: x-man on February 23, 2017, 03:42:58 PM
Just upgraded a CX11 to MCD 8 and now I can't access with IE 11. It pops up a box with use 10 or 11 without adding to compatibility mode list. Now it was in there but I have taken it out of the list and shut down IE11 but it still keeps popping the rror up....nay ideas? Firefox works OK.

In settings > compatibility view settings try unticking "display intranet sites in compatibility view"

That worked for me with 7.2 & IE proxy being set from a DNS WPAD record.

Is the site using a proxy?  If so is use http 1.1 through proxy connections enabled?

No, I have IE11 on the 2012r2 server with rdp on to the server for maintenance. Its that IE11 that is giving this strange message or maybe its the Mitel itself?

Is IE Enhanced Security turned on (for either users or Administrators depending on your logon?)  I'm sure it's the Mitel checking the agent string for IE that is doing it.

I'm able to get to MiVB 8.0 from IE 11 on a Win10. The only thing I had to do was add the address to Compatibility View. Not sure what to suggest for Server2012.

I find I have to place newer controllers in Trusted Sites on IE11, then set the security level for that zone to "Low".
