Anyone tried this type of connectivity? This is more about inbound routing by setting the sip extensions in a voicemail hunt group. A coworker tried this on a vMCD and they got no dtmf after answer.
Further thinking, perhaps Mitel design to a sip device in a vm hunt group looks for the forward info. I was hoping Ralph might have some thoughts.
Additional thoughts would be to try a loopback trunk and send <E> after a <T> with sufficient timeout value.

I suspect you won't be able to gen DTMF after the VM picks up like you would with an ONS line.
I think you're correct that the only way to make it happen would be to use a loop back. Even then, timing may be tough to get right.
