Title: API calls

here is the scenario.  we have a mitel 3300, 5330e and 5340e phones,  Oiasys call recording.
phones have 2 extensions each
we want to have an API call that checks which line is in use for the user and send a call to the Oaisys to stop call recording for a limited time on the current active call for that user.
can that be done?  how would the system know which line appearance to stop recording?
