Hi Everyone,
I'm working on a MiVoice Business running release 7.2 which is constantly reporting a backup failure alarm.
DBMS CHECK FULL does not report any errors. When I run an immediate backup, the backup goes through successfully. I've rebooted the MCD yesterday, checked again today, and there's a backup failure alarm again.
Has anyone seen this issue?

Is there a scheduled backup in the Scheduler? Maybe it's trying to store a scheduled backup to an FTP server that is not available? The logs should be able to tell you what's triggering the alarm.

I know it sounds silly, but I've received this when the server I am backing up to ran out of storage space so the backup couldn't complete.

Have you looked through the maintenance logs? Should give you a pretty clear indicator of what the problem is...
