Title: MCD 3300 sending ring group directly to vm after 2:30 PM
Post by: Crowtalks on December 20, 2016, 12:44:54 PM
Customer wanted a new ring group set up to ring with voicemail overflow between 6:30 - 2:30, but they want it to go directly to voicemail after 2:30. My old mind can't recall how to force it to night schedule...

Thanks, Jim

Give everyone a group presence key for the group, if everyone logs out of the group it will go to the overflow point.

Are we talking ACD or can I do that with a simple ring group?

I do it with Ring Groups - just give them a "Group Presence" key on their handsets and get on the Controller and view the ring group member presence when you press the key on and off.

OK, awesome. I installed this and a couple of other 3300 systems four years ago and except for a couple of upgrades, the customers haven't really wanted much in the way of change to the day night schedules and I had almost forgotten how set schedules...this solution, however, sound like it is easier than scheduling. Thanks guys!
