Title: Intetel 5200 voice back up
Post by: TYTEL on December 12, 2016, 09:00:39 AM
What is the procedure for backing up the BVM data using an USB drive as the target backup.
I have a inter tel 5200 system in reading the help info on Voicemail backup and restore it seems to be a straight forward process but I must be missing something.
Thanks

In the Database Save + Voice Processor dialog box, you designate where to save the files.

Under Voice Processor, the Save To option is Not Saved by default. On the drop down menu, select USB Port. The Path will be U:/ by default, which should be the thumb drive in the CS chassis.

The next time you perform a voice backup, you'll see a dire warning that existing data will be overwritten. That's exactly what you want to happen, so click OK.
